Pabitra Margherita is an Indian politician. He is currently serving as a Minister of State for External Affairs and also as a Minister of State for Textiles in the Modi Government's third term.
Margherita is a Member of Parliament (since March 2022),representing Assam in the Rajya Sabha the upper house of India's Parliament as a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. [1] [2] He joined politics in 2014 and became an active member of Bharatiya Janata Party. He is serving as a Spokesperson of Assam BJP [3] since 2014. He also served as Prabhari of Social Media Cell,Assam BJP and Zila Prabhari of Kamrup (North) District BJP. He also served as Chairman of Jyoti Chitraban, [4] Govt. of Assam from 2017 to 2021. He also served as Member Secretary [5] of State Level Advisory Committee for Students and Youth Welfare,Govt. of Assam [6] from November 2021 to March 2022. Besides this he used to be an actor with his first film Tumi Mur Mathu Mur with co-star and director Zubeen Garg. His other films like Junbai,Hero and Mon Jaai ,which is one of his biggest hit films of all time.
Currently he is a member of Consultative Committee of Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. [7] as well as he is serving as Political Secretary to Chief Minister of Assam. Pabitra Margherita took oath as cabinet minister [8] of states in Third Modi Ministry. He is Minister of State in the Ministry of External Affairs;and Minister of State in the Ministry of Textiles.
He was the founder Chief Editor of the monthly Maya from 1998 to 2002. He also served as founder chief editor of another Assamese cultural monthly SaReGaMa from 2002 to 2005.[ citation needed ]

Although India is a parliamentary democracy,the country's politics has become dynastic or with high level of nepotism,possibly due to the absence of party organizations,independent civil-society associations which mobilize support for a party,or centralized financing of elections. The dynastic phenomenon is present at the national,state,regional,and district level. The Nehru–Gandhi family has produced three Indian prime ministers,and family members have largely led the Congress party since 1978. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) also has several dynastic leaders. In addition to the major national parties,other national and regional parties such as Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK),Shiromani Akali Dal,Shiv Sena,Samajwadi Party,Rashtriya Janata Dal,Janata Dal Secular,Jharkhand Mukti Morcha,Kerala Congress,Jammu &Kashmir National Conference,Indian Union Muslim League,AIMIM,and the Nationalist Congress Party are all dominated by families,mostly those of the party founders.
Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi is an Indian politician and was the Union Minister of Minority Affairs. He had served as a Member of Parliament in the Rajya Sabha from 2002 to 2022 and was Deputy Leader of the House in Rajya Sabha between 2021 and 2022.

Bijoya Chakravarty,is an Indian politician of Bharatiya Janata Party. She served as the Member of the Lok Sabha from Gauhati from 2009 to 2019 and from 1999 to 2004. Biswajit Daimary is an Indian politician from Bharatiya Janata Party who is serving as the Speaker of Assam Legislative Assembly since 2021.
