The Pan-American Championships [1] also known as the Campeonatos Panamericanos was a men's and women's clay court tennis tournament established in 1943 and played at the Centro Deportivo Chapultepec, Mexico City, Mexico until 1969.
The Pan-American Championships or Torneo Panamericano de Tenis was established in 1943, and played on clay courts at the Centro Deportivo Chapultepec, Mexico City, Mexico. [2] The championships were staged annually until 1969 when they were discontinued.

Laver was ranked the world number 1 professional player indisputably for five years from 1965 to 1969 and by some sources also in 1964 and 1970. The Carolinas International Tennis Tournament, also known by its sponsored name North Carolina National Bank Tennis Classic, was a combined men's and women's tennis tournament founded in 1965. Also known as the Carolinas Invitational it was played at the Julian J. Clark Tennis Stadium on the grounds of the Olde Providence Racquet Club in Charlotte, North Carolina from 1965 through 1977. The inaugural edition was part of the Grand Prix tennis circuit while the following editions were part of the World Championship Tennis (WCT) circuit. The event was held on outdoor hard courts in 1971, and on outdoor clay courts in 1970 and from 1972 through 1977.
The Virginia Slims of Fort Lauderdale is a defunct WTA Tour affiliated women's tennis tournament founded in 1946 as a combined men's and women's event called the Austin Smith Championships that was part of the ILTF Circuit. Panamerican Tennis Center, formerly The Telcel Tennis Complex, is a tennis center in Zapopan, Mexico. It was officially opened on 15 October 2010, in a ceremony and exhibition tournament featuring tennis professionals Andre Agassi and Jim Courier. The complex consists of a main court with a capacity of 2,592, 8 tournament courts, 4 practice courts and an underground parking lot. It hosted the tennis competition at the 2011 Pan American Games. For the games it had a temporary capacity of 6,639 for the entire complex.
