Peyton Minor Pallette (born May 9,2001) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Chicago White Sox organization.
Pallette attended Benton High School in Benton,Arkansas. He went unselected in the 2019 Major League Baseball draft out of high school and enrolled at the University of Arkansas to play college baseball. [1]
As a freshman at Arkansas in 2020,Pallette made four relief appearances before the season was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. [2] That summer,he played in the California Collegiate League for the Santa Barbara Foresters,where he was a part of a combined no-hitter. [3] In 2021,he moved in to the starting rotation. [4] He was pulled in the middle of a game in mid-May with arm pain and missed the remainder of the season. [5] [6] Over 15 games (11 starts),Pallette went 1-2 with a 4.02 ERA and 67 strikeouts over 56 innings. [7] He was slated to play in Cape Cod Baseball League but did not make an appearance due to his injury. [8] Pallette returned to in-game action with the Razorbacks during their 2021 fall camp. [9] Pallette entered the 2022 season as a top prospect for the upcoming draft. [10] However,prior to the start of the season,it was announced that Pallette would undergo Tommy John surgery,forcing him to miss all of the 2022 season. [11] [12]
Pallette was selected by the Chicago White Sox in the second round with the 62nd overall pick of the 2022 Major League Baseball draft. [13] He signed with the team for $1.50 million. [14]
To open the 2023 season,Pallette was assigned to the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers of the Low-A Carolina League. [15]

The 2020–21 Arkansas Razorbacks men's basketball team represented the University of Arkansas during the 2020–21 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The team was led by second-year head coach Eric Musselman,and played their home games at Bud Walton Arena in Fayetteville,Arkansas as a member of the Southeastern Conference. The Razorbacks finished second in the SEC regular season and earned a 3 seed in the NCAA Tournament's South Regional. Arkansas went on to make it to the Sweet Sixteen of the NCAA Tournament for the first time since the 1995–96 season,and then to the Elite Eight for the first time since the 1994–95 season. Freshman guard Moses Moody was named the SEC Freshman of the Year,1st Team All-SEC,Freshman All-American,and AP Honorable Mention All-American. The Razorbacks finished the season with an overall record of 25–7,13–4 in SEC play,and finished ranked #6 in the Coaches Poll and #10 in the AP Poll. Arkansas's season ended when they lost to eventual national champion Baylor in the Elite Eight.
The 2021 Arkansas Razorbacks baseball team represents the University of Arkansas in the 2021 NCAA Division I baseball season. The Razorbacks are coached by Dave Van Horn,in his 19th season with the Razorbacks,and play their home games at Baum–Walker Stadium.
