Philip Heintz (born 21 February 1991) is a German swimmer. He competed in the 200 m individual medley event at the 2012 Summer Olympics and was eliminated after the qualifying heats. [1] [2] At the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, he competed in the 200 m individual medley. He finished in 6th place with a time of 1:57.48. [3]
Georgina Bardach Martin is a swimmer from Argentina. At the 2002 FINA Short Course World Championships in Moscow, she finished third in the 400 m Individual Medley race. She also won the gold medal at the 2003 Pan American Games in Santo Domingo.
Ryan Steven Lochte is an American former competition swimmer and 12-time Olympic medalist. He is the third-most decorated swimmer in Olympic history measured by total number of medals, behind only Michael Phelps and Katie Ledecky. Lochte's seven individual Olympic medals rank second in history in men's swimming, tied for second among all Olympic swimmers. He currently holds the world records in the 200-meter individual medley. Anja Klinar is a butterfly and medley swimmer from Slovenia. She has competed for her native country at four Olympic Games, from 2004–2016. She represented Slovenia in the 4 × 200 m freestyle relay, 200 m butterfly and 400 individual medley at the 2004 Olympics, the 200 and 400 m individual medley at the 2008 Summer Olympics, the 4 × 200 m freestyle relay, 200 m butterfly and the 400 m individual medley at the 2012 Summer Olympics and the 200 m butterfly and the 4 × 200 m freestyle at the 2016 Olympics.
Michael Fred Phelps II is an American former competitive swimmer. He is the most successful and most decorated Olympian of all time with a total of 28 medals. Phelps also holds the all-time records for Olympic gold medals (23), Olympic gold medals in individual events (13), and Olympic medals in individual events (16). At the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Phelps tied the record of eight medals of any color at a single Games, held by gymnast Alexander Dityatin, by winning six gold and two bronze medals. Stacchiotti also holds numerous meet records and collects a total of 49 medals from the Games of the Small States of Europe. At the 2008 Summer Olympics, Stacchiotti became the youngest athlete to be chosen by the Luxembourg squad, and was given the honor of carrying the nation's flag in the opening ceremony.

At the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, she finished in 21st place in the women's 100 m butterfly and did not qualify for the semifinals. She competed in the women's 200 m medley where she finished 11th in the semifinals and did not qualify for the final. She was also a member of the women's 4 × 100 m medley relay team which finished 12th in the heats and did not qualify for the final.

Liechtenstein competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from 5 to 21 August 2016. Since the nation's official debut in 1936, Liechtensteinian athletes have appeared in every edition of the Summer Olympic Games, except for two occasions. Liechtenstein did not register any athletes at the 1956 Summer Olympics in Melbourne, and eventually joined the United States-led boycott when Moscow hosted the 1980 Summer Olympics. The 2016 delegation included two swimmers, Christoph Meier and Julia Hassler, and tennis player Stephanie Vogt. Two of the athletes debuted in the 2012 Summer Olympics, with long-distance freestyle swimmer Julia Hassler leading the squad as the nation's flag bearer in the opening ceremony.
