Pintara is an Indomalayan genus of spread-winged skippers in the family Hesperiidae.
Meandrusa sciron, the brown gorgon, is a species of swallowtail butterfly found in parts of South Asia and Southeast Asia. It belongs to the hooked swallowtails genus, Meandrusa, of the family Papilionidae. The brown gorgon is found in India from Sikkim to Assam and north Burma and is not considered to be threatened. Though not uncommon, it is protected under Indian law under the name gyas.
Calinaga is the sole genus of the monotypic nymphalid butterfly subfamily Calinaginae. Its species occur in South Asia and Southeast Asia. The evolutionary history of Calinaga remains a mystery until today. Recent research indicated that the common ancestor of Calinaga first split in the Eocene in southern China. This was most likely due to a consequence of geological and environmental impacts of the collision of the Indian and Asian subcontinents.

Tagiades, commonly known as snow flats, is a genus of spread-winged skipper butterflies. It is the type genus of the tribe Tagiadini of the subfamily Pyrginae in the family Hesperiidae. It contains seventeen species; three of which are found in tropical Africa, while fourteen are found from India, Sri Lanka, Southeast Asia, northeast Australia, to the Pacific Islands. They are primarily diurnal butterflies, and can usually be found in secondary forests at up to 1,300 m (4,300 ft) above sea level. They can sometimes be encountered in partially cleared or cultivated areas. They are fast flyers, flying at an average height of 2 to 6 m. They usually rest on the undersides of leaves. When disturbed they will fly away but will usually return to the preferred area, often to the same leaf.

Polyommatus arasbarani, the Arasbaran anomalous blue, is a butterfly of the family Lycaenidae. It was described by Carbonell & Naderi in 2000. It is endemic of southern slope of the Meghri Mountains in Armenia and nearby Arasbaran Mountains in northern Iran. Armenia is inhabited by subspecies P. a. neglecta. It inhabits forests alternated with dry steppe-like areas at elevations of 1700–2000 m above sea level. The species is included in the Red Book of Animals of the Republic of Armenia as endangered EN B1a+B2a, although in the book it is still called with the invalid name - Agrodiaetus neglectus.
