Pleasant Hill was a hamlet in Franklin County, Kansas, United States. [1] It was situated in the Appanoose Creek valley in the north-west of the county. [1]
Pleasant Hill was issued a post office in 1898 when it was moved and renamed from Garlington, its prior name from 1886, but was discontinued in 1902. [2] [3] It was served from Pomona post office, 6 miles (9.7 km) to the south with rural free delivery, by 1912; with the nearest railway station being Michigan 4 miles (6.4 km) to the west. [1]
