Finnish rock band Poets of the Fall have released nine studio albums, two live albums, four compilation albums, one video albums, one extended play, 23 singles, and 24 music videos (including the ones released as Old Gods of Asgard). Poets of the Fall was formed in Helsinki, in 2003 by Marko Saaresto (lead vocals), Olli Tukiainen (lead guitar), and Markus Kaarlonen (keyboards, production). Jani Snellman (bass), Jaska Mäkinen (rhythm guitar) and Tapio (drums) were later recruited as touring members, and in 2006, with the replacement of Tapio with Jari Salminen (lead vocals), the three were added to the band's official lineup.
The band is known for their partnership with video game developers, most notably, with Remedy Entertainment, having written songs for Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne (2003), Alan Wake (2010), Alan Wake's American Nightmare (2012), Control (2019), and Alan Wake 2 (2023), the latter four under the pseudonym Old Gods of Asgard.

Poets of the Fall (POTF) is a Finnish rock band from Helsinki. The group consists of Marko Saaresto, Olli Tukiainen, Markus "Captain" Kaarlonen, Jani Snellman (bass), Jaska Mäkinen, and Jari Salminen.
"I'm Lovin' It" is a song by American singer-songwriter Justin Timberlake. The song, originally written as a jingle for American fast food chain McDonald's, was produced by the Neptunes and is credited as being written by Pharrell Williams, Tom Batoy, Franco Tortora, and Andreas Forberger. It was released as a single on November 20, 2003, and became a chart hit in a few European countries, reaching the top 20 in Greece, Ireland, and the Netherlands.
Carnival of Rust is the second album by the Finnish rock band Poets of the Fall. It was released on 12 April 2006 in Finland, 12 September 2006 in Sweden, October 2006 in Australia, Russia and Ukraine, then on 20 April 2007 in Germany. The album went straight to the top of the Finnish Top 40 album chart and stayed inside the Top 40 for 26 weeks.
"Carnival of Rust" is the first single and the title track of the Carnival of Rust album by the Finnish rock band Poets of the Fall. It was released in Finland on 22 March 2006 and in Germany on 1 December 2006. The single contains two versions of the track and a live recording of the song "Don't Mess With Me" from the band's first album Signs of Life. The track was recorded on 15 July 2005 at Rockperry Festival in Vaasa, Finland.
"Sorry Go 'Round" is a limited edition single by the Finnish rock band Poets of the Fall with a special, black lacquered cover. Every copy has a unique number. It features two versions of the track, which have been remastered in comparison to the full album's version. The band also planned to include a remix of the song, but this idea has been abandoned. It is unknown if the remix was completed or if it will ever be released. Additionally, no music video has been made to promote the single. The single's release was originally planned on 26 July 2006 but was delayed to 16 August 2006 due to the popularity of the previous single, Carnival of Rust. The single peaked at number seven in the official Finnish singles chart.
"Locking Up the Sun" is the fourth track of the album Carnival of Rust by the Finnish rock band Poets of the Fall. A single version of the song has been released in Finland on 29 November 2006. It includes the title track, a remix entitled "The Absolution" done by Captain and the music video directed by Tuomas "stObe" Harju, who shot two of the band's previous clips, as well. The video started to be aired on Finnish television stations at the beginning of November 2006. The single peaked at number three in the official Finnish single charts.
Marko Tapio Saaresto is a Finnish musician. He is the lead vocalist, primary songwriter and one of the founding members of the alternative rock band Poets of the Fall.
The Ultimate Fling is the first single from the album Revolution Roulette by the Finnish rock band Poets of the Fall. It was released in Finland on 6 February 2008. The single features three versions of the title track as well as a live recording of "Fire", the opening track from the band's second album Carnival of Rust. The live version was recorded during the Poets' performance at the Ankkarock Festival 2007 on 5 August 2007. The single peaked at number two in the official Finnish charts.
"If I Had You" is a song by American recording artist and American Idol season eight runner-up Adam Lambert. The song was written by Max Martin, Shellback, and Savan Kotecha and produced by Martin, Shellback and Kristian Lundin for Lambert's debut album, For Your Entertainment (2009). It was released as the third and final international single from the album on May 11, 2010. The song reached number 30 in the United States and reached the top ten in Australia, Canada, Finland, Hungary and New Zealand. The song was performed on Lambert's first concert tour, the 2010 Glam Nation Tour where it was the show's finale.
"Ride" is a song by American recording artist Ciara. The song features American rapper Ludacris. It was co-written by Ciara, Ludacris, Tricky Stewart, and The-Dream, and produced by the latter two. The song served as the lead single from her fourth studio album, Basic Instinct. The song was first released for digital download on April 23, 2010. "Ride" is a down-tempo R&B song, featuring a heavy bass line and seductive tone.
Euphoria is the ninth studio album by Spanish singer-songwriter Enrique Iglesias. The album is a joint-release by Universal Republic and Universal Music Latino and was released on 5 July 2010 internationally and in the US on 6 July 2010. "Wish You Were Here" is a song by Canadian singer-songwriter Avril Lavigne from her fourth studio album, Goodbye Lullaby (2011). The song was released on September 9, 2011, by RCA Records as the third and final single from the album. "Wish You Were Here" was written by Lavigne along with the song's producers Max Martin and Shellback. According to Lavigne, the song shows her vulnerable side. Nothing but the Beat is the fifth studio album by French DJ and record producer David Guetta, released on 26 August 2011. The song was released on October 26, 2011. The Eurodance driven up-tempo song is the album's third international single and sixth overall and final single, released from October 26, 2011, by Universal Motown and Universal Music. "Down for Whatever" was written by Teddy Sky and Bilal Hajji and co-written and produced by RedOne, Jimmy Joker and The WAV.s. The song has been described as a Eurodance and Electro music. The song received mostly positive reviews from music critics, who say that the song is as catchy as Rowland's previous dance hits, "When Love Takes Over" and "Commander". It was also described as a "Radio friendly song".

"Blue Jeans" is a song by American singer-songwriter Lana Del Rey and the third single from her second studio album, Born to Die (2012).
