Premam Poojyam is a 2021 Indian Kannada romantic film written, directed, and co-produced by Dr. Raghavendra B S, making his debut. [1] The film is being produced by Dr. Rakshith Kedambadi, Dr. Rajkumar Janakiraman, Dr. Raghavendra S, Manoj Krishnan under the banner Kedambadi Creations. It features Prem [2] and Brinda Acharya along with Aindrita Ray in the lead roles. The supporting cast includes Master Anand, Anu Prabhakar and Avinash. The score and soundtrack for the film is by Dr. Raghavendra BS and the cinematography is by Naveen Kumar. Production

The film marked actor Prem's 25th film in his film career. [7] The film had newbie Brinda Acharya and Aindrita Ray as the female leads. The film was shot in Bengaluru, Mysuru, and in other parts of Karnataka. The trailer of the film was released on 14 October 2021. [8]

Release

The film was earlier slated to release on 29 October 2021 but to avoid the clash with Bhajarangi 2. [9] The film was later slated to release on 12 November 2021. [10] [11]

Paramathma is a 2011 Indian Kannada-language romantic comedy film written, directed and co-produced by Yogaraj Bhat. It stars Puneeth Rajkumar and Deepa Sannidhi in the lead roles and was released on 6 October 2011, on the eve of Vijayadashami. Halfway through its production, the film's TV rights was procured for a record 3.5 crore. Even before the release, the film grossed a record amount of over 25 Cr included broadcasting and distribution rights. Since release, the movie has garnered a cult status for its metaphorical narration and out-of-the box storytelling.

Prem Kumar, known mononymously as Prem, also popularly called as Nenapirali Prem, is an Indian actor and producer who works in Kannada films. He made his acting debut through the film Praana (2004). However, his major break came through the film Nenapirali (2005) for which he won his first Filmfare Award for Best Actor. Since then, Prem is largely offered films with romantic theme thereby, earning the title Lovely Star in Kannada cinema. Prem also produced the film Pallakki (2007) besides acting in the lead role.

Fair & Lovely is a 2014 Indian Kannada romance drama film written and directed by D. P. Raghuram. Produced by Shilpa Ramesh under the banner Jade Plant Ventures, the film stars Prem Kumar as Manoj and Shwetha Srivatsav as Bhumika, a sex worker, in the lead roles.
