It is a remake of 2004 Kannada film Bisi Bisi starring Ramesh Aravind, Anu Prabhakar, and Madhuri Bhattacharya, which itself was loosely based on the 1955 movie The Seven Year Itch.
Paramathma is a 2011 Indian Kannada-language romantic comedy film written, directed and co-produced by Yogaraj Bhat. It stars Puneeth Rajkumar and Deepa Sannidhi in the lead roles and was released on 6 October 2011, on the eve of Vijayadashami. Halfway through its production, the film's TV rights was procured for a record ₹3.5 crore. Even before the release, the film grossed a record amount of over ₹25 Cr included broadcasting and distribution rights. Since release, the movie has garnered a cult status for its metaphorical narration and out-of-the box storytelling.
Prem Kumar, known mononymously as Prem, also popularly called as Nenapirali Prem, is an Indian actor and producer who works in Kannada films. He made his acting debut through the film Praana (2004). However, his major break came through the film Nenapirali (2005) for which he won his first Filmfare Award for Best Actor. Since then, Prem is largely offered films with romantic theme thereby, earning the title Lovely Star in Kannada cinema. Prem also produced the film Pallakki (2007) besides acting in the lead role.

Kaddipudi is a 2013 Indian Kannada language crime drama film directed by Duniya Soori and produced by M. Chandru. The screenplay was written by Soori and Rajesh Nataranga and the film stars Shiva Rajkumar as Anand alias Kaddipudi, a rowdy in Bangalore who vows to relinquish his life of crime and lead a normal life. The film also features Radhika Pandit, Rangayana Raghu, Anant Nag, Rajesh Nataranga, Balu Nagendra, Sharath Lohitashwa, Renuka Prasad and Avinash in pivotal roles.
Dasavala is a 2013 Kannada drama film starring Prem and Iswarya Menon. The film is directed by M. S. Ramesh, and also stars Hema Choudhary, Rangayana Raghu and Avinash. Dasavala was released on 11 October 2013. Anitha Bhat featured in an item song in Dasavala. The storyline of the movie was similar to two more Kannada movies - Director's Special and Karodpathi. It was also reported that the concept of all these films could be traced back to the 1996 Spanish film Familia in which a lonely rich man hires actors to act as his family members on his birthday.
Bhajarangi is a 2013 Indian Kannada-language fantasy action film starring Shiva Rajkumar and Aindrita Ray. Directed by choreographer-turned-director Harsha, the film was released on 12 December 2013 and received positive response from critics. Bhajarangi was the highest-grossing Kannada film of 2013. The film was declared a blockbuster at the box office.
Mohini 9886788888 is a 2006 Indian Kannada-language horror drama film directed, co-produced and written by Rajendra Singh Babu. The film stars Aditya and Sadha, with Suhasini, Anu Prabhakar and Adi Lokesh in other prominent roles.
Fair & Lovely is a 2014 Indian Kannada romance drama film written and directed by D. P. Raghuram. Produced by Shilpa Ramesh under the banner Jade Plant Ventures, the film stars Prem Kumar as Manoj and Shwetha Srivatsav as Bhumika, a sex worker, in the lead roles. Vijay Raghavendra appears in an extended special appearance. The music was composed by V. Harikrishna who has also made his debut as a lyricist by penning one track for the film.

James is a 2022 Indian Kannada-language action drama film written and directed by Chethan Kumar. It stars Puneeth Rajkumar and Priya Anand, while R. Sarathkumar, Srikanth, and Anu Prabhakar play supporting roles. This is Puneeth's posthumous appearance following his death on 29 October 2021. The film marked the second collaboration between Puneeth, Priya and Sarathkumar after Raajakumara (2017). The film score and soundtrack were composed by V. Harikrishna and Charan Raj respectively.
Harish Komme, is an Indian film editing professional, known for his works in Kannada cinema. He works predominantly on Kannada films. His Karnataka State Film Award for Best Editor was for his work on the feature film Mufti (2017) directed by Narthan.
Garuda is a 2022 Indian Kannada-language action drama film directed by Dhana Kumar. K and written by Siddharth Mahesh. It stars Siddharth Mahesh, Srinagar Kitty, Aindrita Ray and Ashika Rangnath. While Raghu Dixit composed the soundtrack and background score, cinematography was handled by Jai Anand.
Brinda Acharya born on 18th September 1994 is an Indian actress who works predominantly in Kannada Films in addition to other Indian Language films. She is a recipient of Best Debute Actor and Nobleman Award at the 15th National Kannada Cultural Convention. She started her career in the year 2021 with her first release Premam Poojyam( Released on 12th November). She starred in Premam Poojyam (2021) and Kousalya Supraja Rama (2023).
