Prithviraj Sukumaran is an Indian actor, director, producer and distributor who predominantly works in Malayalam language films. He also appears in Tamil, Hindi and Telugu films. He has worked in both mainstream and in parallel films. Prithviraj made his acting debut in 2002 with the Malayalam film, Nandanam . It was released after his second work Nakshathrakkannulla Rajakumaran Avanundoru Rajakumari . Since then, he has acted in more than 100 films. [1]

His Tamil debut was in Kana Kandaen in 2005, and his other acclaimed film in that language include Parijatham , Mozhi , and Raavanan . He made Telugu and Bollywood (Hindi) debuts with Police Police (2010) and Aiyyaa (2012), respectively. Prithviraj has won two Kerala State Film Awards for Best Actor in 2006 for Vaasthavam , becoming the youngest recipient at age 24, [2] and in 2012 for Ayalum Njanum Thammil and Celluloid . [3] Since 2012, he was associated with and has co-produced films under the company August Cinema, before leaving them in 2017. In 2018, Prithviraj launched his own production house, Prithviraj Productions, debuting with 9 (2019) starring himself. He made his directorial debut with Lucifer starring Mohanlal, released in 2019. He made his second directorial with Bro Daddy , again starring Mohanlal. He starred in successful films such as Driving Licence (2019), Ayyappanum Koshiyum (2020), Jana Gana Mana (2022), Kaduva (2022) and Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire (2023).

The Goat Life(Aadujeevitham) is a 2024 Malayalam language survival drama film written, directed, and co-produced by Blessy. The film is an international co-production involving companies in India and the United States. It is an adaptation of the 2008 best-selling Malayalam novel Aadujeevitham by Benyamin, which is based on the real-life story of Najeeb, a Malayali immigrant laborer in the Gulf. The film stars Prithviraj Sukumaran alongside Jimmy Jean-Louis and K. R. Gokul, Talib Al Balushi, Rik Aby, Amala Paul and Shobha Mohan. The film was initially banned in the GCC countries other than UAE, subsequently the ban was lifted in all the countries except in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. The film stars Prabhas as the title character alongside an ensemble cast of Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Bobby Simha and Sriya Reddy. In the fictional dystopian city-state of Khansaar, where monarchy still exists, the film follows the friendship between Deva (Prabhas), the exiled prince of Khansaar, and Varadha, the current prince of Khansaar. When a coup d'état is planned by his father's ministers and his relatives, Varadha enlists Deva's help to become Khansaar's undisputed ruler.

Bro Daddy is a 2022 Indian Malayalam-language comedy-drama film directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran and produced by Antony Perumbavoor through Aashirvad Cinemas, with screenplay by Sreejith N. and Bibin Maliekal. The film stars Mohanlal, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Meena, Kalyani Priyadarshan, Lalu Alex, Kaniha, Jagadish, Mallika Sukumaran and Soubin Shahir, Unni Mukundan in supporting roles. The songs and background score for the film were composed by Deepak Dev.

<i>L2: Empuraan</i> Upcoming Indian film directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran

L2: Empuraan, also called L2E, is an upcoming Indian Malayalam-language action thriller film directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran and written by Murali Gopy. It is the second instalment in a planned trilogy, following the 2019 film Lucifer. The film is jointly produced by Lyca Productions and Aashirvad Cinemas. It stars Mohanlal as Khureshi-Ab'raam / Stephen Nedumpally alongside an ensemble featuring Prithviraj Sukumaran, Manju Warrier, Tovino Thomas, Indrajith Sukumaran, Saniya Iyappan, Saikumar, Baiju Santhosh, Fazil and Sachin Khedekar all of whom are reprising their roles from the original.

<i>Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire</i> (soundtrack) 2023 soundtrack album by Ravi Basrur

Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire is the soundtrack to the 2023 film of the same name directed by Prashanth Neel under the production of Hombale Films, starring Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran and Shruti Haasan. The film features music composed by Ravi Basrur and lyrics written by Krishna Kanth. The soundtrack which consisted of four songs and three instrumental tracks were released by Hombale Music and Divo on 31 December 2023.
