The Puerto Rico Ports Authority (PRPA) (Spanish : Autoridad de los Puertos; AP) is a government-owned corporation of Puerto Rico charged with developing, operating, and overseeing all seaports and airports in Puerto Rico. [1] [2] [3] The Authority is ascribed to the Department of Transportation and Public Works and is governed by a board of directors whose members are appointed by the Governor with the advice and consent of the Senate. Its day-to-day operations are under the charge of an executive director, currently Omar Marrero Díaz. [4]

The Dr. Pedro Rosselló González Puerto Rico Convention Center (PRCC), or simply Puerto Rico Convention Center, is a convention center located in Isla Grande, in San Juan, Puerto Rico owned by the Puerto Rico Convention Center District Authority, a government agency of Puerto Rico, and managed by ASM Global. With a total space of 600,000-square-foot and designed by tvsdesign, it is the largest convention center in the Caribbean and one of the most technologically advanced in the Americas.
Anón is one of the 31 barrios in the municipality of Ponce, Puerto Rico. Along with Marueño, Coto Laurel, Guaraguao, Quebrada Limon, Real, and San Patricio, and the coastal barrios of Canas and Capitanejo, Anón is one of the municipality's nine bordering barrios. Anón borders the municipalities of Jayuya and Juana Diaz. The name of this barrio is of native Indian origin. It was founded in 1878. Barrio Anón is one of three Ponce barrios located on the Cordillera Central mountain range.
The Puerto Rico Public–Private Partnerships Authority (P3A) is a government-owned corporation of Puerto Rico created in order to regulate public–private partnerships (PPP) in Puerto Rico. It is a PPP unit whose responsibilities include promotion and assessment of public-private partnerships, as well as consultancy on PPP projects. Its organic law was enacted by the 15th Legislative Assembly and signed into law by Governor Luis Fortuño.
Capitanejo is one of the 31 barrios of the municipality of Ponce, Puerto Rico. Along with Anón, Coto Laurel, Guaraguao, Quebrada Limón, Real, San Patricio, and Marueño, and the coastal barrio of Canas, Capitanejo is one of the municipality's nine bordering barrios. It borders the municipality of Juana Diaz. Along with Playa, Bucana, Vayas and Canas, Capitanejo is also one of Ponce's five coastal barrios. Together with Vayas, Capitanejo is also one of two rural coastal barrios in the municipality. It was founded in 1822.

The Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority Is an electric power company owned by the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico responsible for electricity generation, power distribution, and power transmission on the island. PREPA was the only entity authorized to conduct such business in Puerto Rico, making it a government monopoly, until on January 22, 2018, former governor of Puerto Rico, Ricardo Rossello, announced that all assets of the company will be sold in a general privatization of PREPA.
The 2012 Puerto Rico government transition process is the ongoing process in Puerto Rico regarding the government transition between the outgoing governorship of incumbent Governor Luis Fortuño and the incoming governorship of Alejandro García Padilla, governor-elect. The process is mandated and regulated by Law No. 197 of 2002 and started on November 13, 2012, three working days after the Puerto Rican general election of 2012 as the law requires, once García Padilla was preliminarily certified as Governor-elect by the State Elections Commission.
