Puji Town (simplified Chinese :普迹镇; traditional Chinese :普跡鎮; pinyin :Pǔjì Zhèn) is a rural town in Liuyang City, Hunan Province, People's Republic of China. [1] As of the 2015 census it had a population of 41,900 and an area of 176.5-square-kilometre (68.1 sq mi). [2] It borders Gejia Town in the north, Zhentou Town in the northwest, Guanqiao Town in the west, Guanzhuang Town of Liling in the south, and Chengchong Town in the east.
The town is divided into six villages and three communities, the following areas:
Liuyang River, also known as the mother river, flows through the town.
There are a number of popular mountains located immediately adjacent to the townsite which include Mount Jiziling (鸡子岭; 142-metre (466 ft)); Mount Huangmaojian (黄茅尖; 725-metre (2,379 ft)) and Mount Baimaojian (白毛尖; 597.8-metre (1,961 ft)).
The principal industries in the area are agriculture, forestry and fireworks.
The Liuyang-Liling Expressway in Hunan leads to Liling through the town. [3]
The town is connected to three county roads: X016, X017 and X018. [3]
Wanshou Palace (万寿宫) is a Taoist temple situated at the town.
Jiazhou Isle (夹洲岛) is a well-known scenic spot. Besides, the Jinjiang military education centre (金江军事教育基地), which is formally the No. 7 senior high school of Liuyang, is also an important tourist spot in Puji town. [4]
Dayao is a rural town under the administration of and in the south of Liuyang, Hunan, China. Dayao is well known for its firework industry. Dayao has an area of 149.3-square-kilometre (57.6 sq mi). and a population of 91,300. Yanghua Township merged to Dayao on November 18, 2015. The town is bordered to the north by Hehua Subdistrict, to the east by Chengtanjiang Town, to the south by the towns of Jingang and Litian, and to the west by Chengchong Town.
Baijia Town is a rural town under the administration of Liuyang City, Hunan Province, People's Republic of China.
