Qarah Benas (Persian : قره بناس‎, also Romanized as Qarah Benās, Qareh Banās, and Qareh Benās; also known as Gareh Banās and Qaraha Bughaz)^[1] is a village in Khezel-e Gharbi Rural District, in the Central District of Kangavar County, Kermanshah Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 292, in 65 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is a pluricentric language primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Khezel-e Gharbi Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Kangavar County, Kermanshah Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 4,987, in 1,172 families. The rural district has 24 villages.
