Rashtian (Persian : رشتيان‎, also Romanized as Rashtīān and Rashteyān; also known as Rashian)^[1] is a village in Fash Rural District, in the Central District of Kangavar County, Kermanshah Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 193, in 47 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is a pluricentric language primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Fash Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Kangavar County, Kermanshah Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 5,607, in 1,341 families. The rural district has 19 villages.

The Central District of Kangavar County is a district (bakhsh) in Kangavar County, Kermanshah Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 80,215, in 19,825 families. The District has two cities: Kangavar & Gowdin. The District has five rural districts (dehestan): Fash Rural District, Gowdin Rural District, Kermajan Rural District, Khezel-e Gharbi Rural District, and Qazvineh Rural District.
