RSVP Movies is an Indian film production and distribution company established by Ronnie Screwvala in 2017.
In 2017, Ronnie Screwvala entered the entertainment business with RSVP after his exit from UTV Motion Pictures and produced Love per Square Foot which was digitally released on Netflix in 2018. [1] [2]
Love per Square Foot , starring Vicky Kaushal and Angira Dhar, was the first film produced under RSVP's banner. The film was released on 14 February 2018 and was screened at Beijing International Film Festival 2019. [3] [4] RSVP produced Lust Stories (2018), an anthology film consisting of four short films from four directors, Anurag Kashyap, Zoya Akhtar, Dibakar Banerjee, and Karan Johar. The film has an ensemble cast including Radhika Apte, Bhumi Pednekar, Kiara Advani, Manisha Koirala, Vicky Kaushal and Sanjay Kapoor.
In 2018, RSVP produced Akarsh Khurana's directorial debut Karwaan (2018), starring Irrfan Khan, Dulquer Salmaan and Mithila Palkar. [5] RSVP collaborated with Siddharth Roy Kapur’s Roy Kapur Films for Pihu (2017), which premiered at 2017 International Film Festival of India and screened at the Fajr International Film Festival. [6] The film was released theatrically in November 2018. [7]
RSVP collaborated with Guy in the Sky Pictures and produced Kedarnath (2018) starring Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan. [8] RSVP produced the directorial debut of Aditya Dhar, Uri: The Surgical Strike (2019), starring Vicky Kaushal, Paresh Rawal, Mohit Raina, and Yami Gautam. The film got listed in the top ten Hindi films with the highest domestic net collection and won four National Film Awards including Best Director and Best Actor. [9] [10] In 2019, RSVP produced Sonchiriya , directed by Abhishek Chaubey and starring Sushant Singh Rajput, Bhumi Pednekar, Manoj Bajpayee, Ranvir Shorey and Ashutosh Rana. [11] Vasan Bala's Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota (2019) starring Abhimanyu Dassani and Radhika Madan was also produced under RSVP's banner. The film premiered at Midnight Madness section of 2018 Toronto International Film Festival and won the People's Choice Award. The film was also screened at 2018 JIO Mumbai Academy of the Moving Image Film Festival. [12]
The Sky Is Pink starring Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Farhan Akhtar, and Zaira Wasim which is going to be premiered at Toronto International Film Festival 2019, [13] [14] Bhangra Paa Le featuring Sunny Kaushal and Raat Akeli Hai starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Radhika Apte, and Shweta Tripathi Sharma are some of the acclaimed films. [15] [16] RSVP has also announced three more projects, Natkhat, a short film co-produced with Vidya Balan, Rashmi Rocket, starring Taapsee Pannu and directed by Akarsh Khurana and Sam Bahadur starring Vicky Kaushal and directed by Meghna Gulzar and Tejas starring Kangana Ranaut. Born to Gulzar and actress Raakhee, Gulzar joined her father as an assistant to his films and became a screenwriter for her father's 1999 directorial Hu Tu. Meghna later became an independent director and directed her first film, the drama Filhaal... (2002), though she did not achieve directorial success that decade.

It stars Alia Bhatt in the lead role and features Vicky Kaushal, Rajit Kapur, Shishir Sharma, and Jaideep Ahlawat in supporting roles. The film is an adaptation of Harinder Sikka's 2008 novel Calling Sehmat, a true account of an Indian Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) agent who, upon her father's request, is married into a family of military officers in Pakistan to relay information to India, prior to the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. Principal photography of Raazi began in July 2017 in Mumbai and was completed on 27 October 2017. It was shot across several locations including Patiala, Nabha, Malerkotla and Doodhpathri.

Love Per Square Foot is a 2018 Indian Hindi-language romantic comedy film directed by Anand Tiwari and produced by Ronnie Screwvala, under his newly established banner RSVP Movies. The film, which stars Vicky Kaushal and Angira Dhar in the lead roles, is about Sanjay and Kareena who try to find a house in Mumbai. They do not have enough money to earn individually, in order to buy a home, so they enter into a marriage of convenience.
Manmarziyaan is a 2018 Indian Hindi-language romantic drama directed by Anurag Kashyap and written by Kanika Dhillon. Starring Abhishek Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu, and Vicky Kaushal in lead roles, it is jointly produced by Phantom Films and Aanand L. Rai's Colour Yellow Productions.

Uri: The Surgical Strike is a 2019 Indian Hindi-language military action film written and directed by debutant Aditya Dhar and produced by Ronnie Screwvala under the RSVP Movies banner. A fictionally dramatised account of the true event of the retaliation to the 2016 Uri attack, the film stars Vicky Kaushal along with Yami Gautam, Paresh Rawal, Kirti Kulhari and Mohit Raina in pivotal roles, and tells the story of Major Vihaan Shergill of the Para, who played a leading role in the events.

Sunny Kaushal is an Indian actor who works in Hindi films. Born into the Kaushal family, he worked as an assistant director on the films My Friend Pinto (2011) and Gunday (2014). He made his acting debut in the comedy-drama Sunshine Music Tours and Travels (2016), and gained recognition for his supporting part in the sports biopic Gold (2018).
