Racha is the feature film soundtrack of the 2012 Telugu action comedy of the same name. Mani Sharma composed the soundtrack. It consists of 5 songs written by Chandrabose, Suddala Ashok Teja, Ramajogayya Sastry, Bhuvanachandra and Chinni Charan.
Mani Sharma composed the film's soundtrack and background music marking his first collaboration with Sampath Nandi and second with Ram Charan after Chirutha (2007). By mid July 2011, Mani Sharma completed composing 2 songs. [1] The song Vaana Vaana Velluvaye from the film Gang Leader was remixed for this film. [2]
The official track list unveiled in early March 2012 featured 5 songs in total including the title track and the remixed version of Vaana Vaana Velluvaye. [3] The lyrics for the Telugu version were penned by Chandrabose, Suddala Ashok Teja, Ramajogayya Sastry, Bhuvanachandra and Chinni Charan. [4] Vivega, Arivumathi and A. R. P. Jayaram penned the lyrics for the Tamil dubbed version Ragalai. [5]

After considering Tirupathi, the makers opted to host a promotional event to launch the soundtrack at Kurnool on 15 January 2012 on the eve of Sankranthi. [6] Later it was postponed to 5 February 2012. Chiranjeevi and Shankar were expected to attend the audio launch as chief guests. [7] The event was cancelled in the last minute as the makers felt that the students would be disturbed as examinations were approaching. The venue was shifted to Hyderabad. [8]
It was confirmed later that the soundtrack would be launched on the evening of 20 February 2012, coinciding with Maha Shivratri at People's Plaza near Necklace Road, Hyderabad among fanfare and grand arrangements were made. Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan were confirmed as the chief guests. However the latter did not attend the launch because of his stay in USA for post production works of his films. [9] The event was hosted by Suma Kanakala. The first three songs were released by V. V. Vinayak, Allu Arjun and B. V. S. N. Prasad. S. S. Rajamouli unveiled the trailers, V. V. Vinayak unveiled the CDs and the memory card was released by Chiranjeevi. [10] The soundtrack of the Tamil version Ragalai was released on 18 March 2012.
Ram Charan opined that the success of the soundtrack of his previous film Orange may influence the price of the audio rights of this film. [11] The title song Racha was leaked into the internet accidentally and went viral though few opined that it was deliberately leaked as a part of the film's promotion. [12] The audio rights were then sold to Aditya Music for an amount of ₹10 million (US$130,000) which was one of the highest prices for a Telugu film soundtrack. [13] Stunts by Bir Khalsa group known for their breathtaking performance in the reality show Adhurs was planned at the audio launch event. [14]
Racha's soundtrack received mixed reviews. Musicperk.com wrote "Mani Sharma made this album a simple one. The melody king had delivered only one song of his stamp. The success of the whole album now depends upon its visualisation to reach into the core of audience. However, it is just a good album overall. Three songs are almost a mass beat, one is a remix and only one melody by the melody king- Mani Sharma" and rated the album 7.5 out of 10. [15] IndiaGlitz stated "Racha is quite an unlikely album from Mani Sharma. He revs up the album with massy tunes, but does the big one live up to the hype? Not so much, especially if you compare the musician's previous work for Charan. All the same, this five-song album is enjoyable for its mix of folksy beats and a hummable song" and added "Chandrabose, Bhuvanachandra, Suddala Ashok Teja lend their lyrical touch, not letting you down in any song, while the voices although routine, engage you with their youthfulness". [16]
Raagalahari.com wrote "Final verdict is simple, ‘Racha’ having full album with wonderful and energetic songs is an instant hit". [17] way2movies.com wrote "Mani Sharma scored a mediocre album playing it safe with fast beat mass numbers. The title track of the film is too good while the Vana Vana remix is a huge disappointment. Dillaku, Singareni undi are highly energetic mass numbers though routine kind. All in all, Mani Sharma has gone routine". [18] Milliblog wrote "Mani Sharma skilfully tones down the Bappi’ness of Gang Leader's Vaana vaana in its remix, and maintains a nice blend of Bollywood and Telugu sound. Even in post-Mani Sharma Telugu cinema, he hasn't changed much". [19]
Choodalani Vundi is a 1998 Indian Telugu-language action drama film written and directed by Gunasekhar, and produced by C. Aswani Dutt under Vyjayanthi Movies. This film stars Chiranjeevi, Soundarya, Anjala Zaveri and Prakash Raj. The film has music composed by Mani Sharma with cinematography by Chota K. Naidu.
Gang Leader is a 1991 Indian Telugu-language action crime film written and directed by Vijaya Bapineedu, and produced by Maganti Ravindranath Chowdary. The film stars Chiranjeevi and Vijayashanti, while Rao Gopal Rao, Anandaraj, Murali Mohan, and Sarath Kumar play supporting roles. The soundtrack was composed by Bappi Lahiri with dance choreography by Prabhu Deva. The film explores the concepts of exploitation of law enforcement by anti-social behaviour and the impact of mob psychology.

Ram Charan and Neha Sharma make their debuts. The film revolves around Charan, a young man in pursuit of a gangster who murdered his parents.

Don Seenu is a 2010 Indian Telugu-language action comedy film directed by debutant Gopichand Malineni who co-wrote the film with Kona Venkat. In the film Cherry, a software engineer in Hyderabad, and Siddharth Naayak, an inspiring young leader in Kolkata fighting against an evil politician named Rawat. The story revolves around Cherry assisting Siddharth in the triumph of good over evil after their paths cross.
Sarocharu is a 2012 Indian Telugu-language romantic comedy film directed by Parasuram starring Ravi Teja and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead roles. Richa Gangopadhyay played an imaginary role by combining the faces of Sandhya and Karthik's friend's wife. The film was produced on Three Angels Studio Pvt. Ltd. banner by Priyanka Dutt and was presented by Vyjayanthi banner. Devi Sri Prasad scored the soundtrack for the film. The film was released on 21 December 2012.

Orange is the soundtrack to the 2010 Indian Telugu-language romantic film of the same name, directed by Bhaskar and starring Ram Charan, Genelia D'Souza and Shazahn Padamsee. The soundtrack album includes six tracks composed by Harris Jayaraj marking his first collaboration with Bhaskar and Ram Charan. The album was released on 25 October 2010, at a promotional event held at Shilpakala Vedika in Hyderabad, and was marketed by the Aditya Music label. The audio of its Tamil dubbed version Ram Charan was launched at 4 Frames Theater in Chennai on 7 November 2012. The soundtrack album released to highly positive reviews and gained critical acclaim. It became one of the highest rated music albums in Telugu cinema. The album was positively received and was nominated at major award ceremonies.
100% Love is the film soundtrack of the 2011 romance film of the same name directed by Sukumar which starred Naga Chaitanya and Tamannaah. The music and background score was composed by Sukumar's regular associate Devi Sri Prasad. The album consisted on 8 songs which included 2 bit songs in the first release and 2 another bit songs in the next release. Chandrabose, Ramajogayya Sastry and Sri Mani penned the Lyrics. The album was released on 2 April 2011 at Rock Gardens in Hyderabad on Aditya Music label. Upon release, 100% Love received positive response from critics.
Erra Bus is a 2014 Indian Telugu-language film directed and produced by veteran actor and director Dasari Narayana Rao under his banner Tharaka Prabhu Films, it was his final film as director. The film stars Vishnu Manchu and Catherine Tresa. Dasari Narayana Rao plays a crucial role in the movie. Chakri has composed the music for the movie while Anji has taken care of the cinematography. The movie is a remake of N. Ragavan’s Tamil film, Manjapai (2014). The principal photography of Erra Bus started on 28 July 2014 in Hyderabad. The audio launch of the movie was held on 31 October 2014.

The award was first given in 2012 for songs and films released in 2011. Ramajogayya Sastry is the most nominated with 11 nominations and Ramajogayya Sastry and Chandrabose are the most awarded with three times winning the award.
RRR is the soundtrack album, composed by M. M. Keeravani, to the 2022 Indian Telugu-language epic action drama film of the same name, directed by S. S. Rajamouli, starring N. T. Rama Rao Jr., Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, and Olivia Morris while Samuthirakani, Shriya Saran, Ray Stevenson, and Alison Doody play supporting roles. The film featured seven tracks with lyrics written by Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry, Chandrabose, Suddala Ashok Teja, Ramajogayya Sastry, K. Shiva Dutta and Keeravani himself. Madhan Karky (Tamil), Riya Mukherjee and Varun Grover (Hindi), Mankombu Gopalakrishnan (Malayalam) and Varadaraj Chikkaballapura (Kannada), wrote lyrics for the dubbed versions. The album, was released by Lahari Music and T-Series on 16 April 2022.
