Rahmatabad (Persian : رحمت اباد‎, also Romanized as Raḩmatābād; also known as Sīāh Qar)^[1] is a village in Rivand Rural District, in the Central District of Nishapur County, Razavi Khorasan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 1,194, in 339 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is a pluricentric language primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Rivand Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Nishapur County, Razavi Khorasan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 12,619, in 3,301 families. The rural district has 59 villages.
