Red Giants is a Dutch basketball club based in Meppel, Drenthe. [1] Founded in 1974 as Alcides, the club reached the Eredivisie in 1987. It played in the Dutch highest tier league until 1996. In 1994, Red Giants won the NBB Cup. Currently, it plays in the Promotiedivisie. Home games are played in the Sportcentrum Ezinge.

Donar, also known as Donar Groningen, is a professional basketball club based in Groningen, Netherlands. The club competes in the BNXT League and its home arena is MartiniPlaza, which has a seating capacity of 4,350 people.
Matrixx Magixx was a professional basketball team based in Nijmegen and later Wijchen. The club played in the Dutch Basketball League (DBL), the Dutch top-tier league. Home games of the Magixx were played in Sporthal De Arcus since 2012, therefore De Horstacker was used. The long time main sponsor of the team was The Matrixx. In 2014, Magixx departed from the DBL after the club could not find funding.

The Basketball Cup, for sponsorship reasons the TOTO Basketball Cup and formerly the NBB Cup, is an annual cup competition for Dutch basketball teams organised by the Basketball Nederland. Every team in the Netherlands can participate by signing up for the preliminary rounds. Professional basketball teams from the Dutch Basketball League (DBL) enter the tournament in the fourth round. From 1977 until 1990 professional teams were not allowed to participate in the competition.

The club has won one major trophy in its history, when it won the NBB Cup in the 1986–87 season. Between 2018 and 2023, Lokomotief won four consecutive Promotiedivisie titles, becoming the first club to do so. The team has since then played well in the NBB Cup competition, even eliminating first level club Den Helder Suns in the 2020–21 season.
Goba Gorinchem is a Dutch basketball club based in Gorinchem. Established on 1 May 1970, the team played three seasons in the Eredivisie, the highest tier of Dutch basketball. GOBA entered the Eredivisie in 1993 and left in 1996. In the 1994–95 season, the team won the national NBB Cup.

D.B.V. Rowic is a Dutch basketball team based in Dordrecht. Founded on 1 April 1964, the team played in the first-level Eredivisie during the 1970s and 1980s. The team was known as Frisol/Rowic for sponsorships reasons, playing in green jerseys as this was the sponsor's color. After Frisol stopped as main sponsor, the team played in the second-tier Eerste Divisie. Rowic won the NBB Cup in 1981, under the sponsored named "Snel Reizen".
Arke Stars Enschede was a Dutch professional basketball club based in Enschede. In the 1970s, the team played in the Eredivisie, the national top flight league. The team played in the Diekmanhal, which was destroyed in a fire in 2007. The Arke Stars won the NBB Cup in 1975.
