Regions of Light and Sound of God is the debut solo album by My Morning Jacket frontman Jim James, first released on February 5, 2013.
The name of the album comes from Lynd Ward's 1929 wordless novel Gods' Man , which was given to James while he was considering recording a solo album. [4]
Regions of Light and Sound of God debuted at No. 34 on the Billboard 200, [11] and No. 10 on the Top Rock Albums, [12] selling 17,000 copies in the first week. The album has sold 56,000 copies in the United States as of November 2016. [13]

N.E.R.D. were an American rock and hip hop band, formed in Virginia Beach, Virginia, in 1994. The Neptunes were signed by Teddy Riley to Virgin. After producing songs for several artists throughout the late 1990s, the duo formed the band with Shay Haley as a side project band of The Neptunes in 1994. N.E.R.D.'s debut album, In Search Of..., sold 603,000 copies in the United States and was certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). It was also awarded the second annual Shortlist Music Prize. The band's second album, Fly or Die, sold 412,000 copies in the United States, but shipped at least 500,000 units, certifying it Gold.
Just Push Play is the thirteenth studio album by American rock band Aerosmith, co-produced by song collaborators Marti Frederiksen and Mark Hudson and was released on March 5, 2001. Amotion is a DVD–CD set released by American rock band A Perfect Circle on November 16, 2004, only two weeks after the debut of the band's third album, eMOTIVe. The DVD consists of music videos for singles such as "Judith", "3 Libras" and "Weak and Powerless" as well as previously unreleased videos for singles such as "Blue" and "Thinking of You". God's Not Dead is the fifteenth studio album by the Christian rock band Newsboys. It was released on 15 November 2011 and is the second full-length album with lead singer Michael Tait. Street's Disciple is the seventh studio album by American rapper Nas, released as a double album by Columbia Records. Originally scheduled for a September 14, 2004 release, the album was ultimately released on November 30, 2004. Named after one of his lyrics from "Live at the Barbeque" by Main Source, the album's cover art was digitally created using photos of Nas to create an adaptation of The Last Supper.
