Western Australian Legislative Council upper house of the Legislature of the state of Western Australia

The Western Australian Legislative Council is the upper house of the Parliament of Western Australia, a state of Australia. It is regarded as a house of review for legislation passed by the Legislative Assembly, the lower house. The two Houses of Parliament sit in Parliament House in the state capital, Perth.

The Australian Christians is a political party in Australia that is described as social conservatist and Christian right. It was founded in 2011, and registered with the Australian Electoral Commission on 15 December 2011. The party's candidates are all committed Christians, "seeking to be a voice for Christian values".

The 2017 Western Australian state election was held on Saturday 11 March 2017 to elect members to the Parliament of Western Australia, including all 59 seats in the Legislative Assembly and all 36 seats in the Legislative Council. The eight-and-a-half-year two-term incumbent Liberal–WA National government, led by Premier Colin Barnett, was defeated by the Labor opposition, led by Opposition Leader Mark McGowan.

The 2019 Australian federal election was held on Saturday 18 May 2019 to elect members of the 46th Parliament of Australia. The election had been called following the dissolution of the 45th Parliament as elected at the 2016 double dissolution federal election. All 151 seats in the House of Representatives and 40 of the 76 seats in the Senate were up for election.

Electoral district of Narungga state electoral district of South Australia

Narungga is a single-member electoral district for the South Australian House of Assembly. It was created by the redistribution of 2016, and was contested for the first time at the 2018 state election. It is named for the Narungga people who are the traditional owners of the lands in most of the electorate. It is one of only two state districts named after South Australia's indigenous people.

2021 Western Australian state election

The 2021 Western Australian state election is scheduled for Saturday 13 March 2021 to elect members to the Parliament of Western Australia, where all 59 seats in the Legislative Assembly and all 36 seats in the Legislative Council will be up for election. The first term incumbent Labor government, currently led by Premier Mark McGowan, will seek a second four-year term against the Liberal opposition, currently led by Opposition Leader Liza Harvey.
