Rhydymwyn railway station was a station in Rhydymwyn, Flintshire, Wales. The station was opened on 6 September 1869, closed to passengers on 30 April 1962 and closed completely on 4 May 1964. [1] Today the station buildings are still extant although the track bed between the platforms has been infilled. Crossing gates can still be found in undergrowth. [1]

Taff Vale Railway Railway company and line in South Wales

The Taff Vale Railway (TVR) was a standard gauge railway in South Wales, built by the Taff Vale Railway Company to serve the iron and coal industries around Merthyr Tydfil and to connect them with docks in Cardiff. It was opened in stages in 1840 and 1841.

Rhydymwyn Human settlement in Wales

Rhydymwyn is a village in Flintshire, Wales, located in the upper Alyn valley. Once a district of Mold, it was recognised as a separate parish from 1865. It is now part of the community of Cilcain.

The M.S. Factory, Valley was a Second World War site in Rhydymwyn, Flintshire, Wales, that was used for the storage and production of mustard gas. It was later also used in the development of the UK's atomic bomb project. More recently, it became a bulk storage depot for emergency supplies.

The 2009–10 FAW Welsh Cup was the 123rd edition of the annual knockout tournament for competitive football teams in Wales, excluding those who play in the English League System. The 2009–10 tournament commenced on 14 August 2009 and concluded at Parc y Scarlets on 1 May 2010. Bangor City won the cup with a 3–2 win against Port Talbot Town.

The 1997–98 Cymru Alliance was the eighth season of the Cymru Alliance after its establishment in 1990. The league was won by Rhydymwyn.

Rhydymwyn F.C. are a football club form Rhydymwyn, Wales. They play in the Ardal Leagues North West, which is at tier 3 of the Welsh football pyramid and play at Dolfechlas Road.

The 2001–02 Welsh Alliance League is the 18th season of the Welsh Alliance League, which is in the third level of the Welsh football pyramid.
