Rick Sloan (born November 10, 1946) is an American athlete. He competed in the men's decathlon at the 1968 Summer Olympics. [1]
Gerald Eugene Sloan was an American professional basketball player and coach. He played 11 seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA) before beginning a 30-year coaching career, 23 of which were spent as head coach of the Utah Jazz (1988–2011). NBA commissioner David Stern referred to Sloan as "one of the greatest and most respected coaches in NBA history". Sloan was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2009.
The equestrian events at the 1932 Los Angeles Summer Games included dressage, eventing, and show jumping. The competitions were held from 10 to 14 August 1932. Due to the worldwide Great Depression, only 31 entries from 6 nations competed—which was to be the lowest participation of any Olympic Games.

Bridget Elizabeth Sloan is an American artistic gymnast. She is the 2009 world champion in the all-around, the 2009 United States national champion, and a silver medalist with the American team at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing.
Douglas Nordquist is a retired male high jumper from the United States, who competed at the 1984 Summer Olympics where he ended up in fifth place with a jump of 2.29 metres, one place behind distant cousin Dwight Stones. He was TAC high jump champion in 1986 and 1988, and placed second at the 1984 Olympic Trials behind Stones. He competed for Sonora High School, finishing a three-way tie for third place at the 1977 CIF California State Meet. While at Fullerton Community College he won the 1979 California Community College Championships, Washington State University where he was coached by 1968 Olympian Rick Sloan. After graduation he was coached by Jim Kiefer and competed for and Tiger International. He was a practitioner of Washington State's specialized weight training for high jumpers He set his personal record of 2.36m while finishing second in a jumpoff at the USATF National Championships at Cerritos College in Norwalk, California on June 15, 1990. Alan Hankle and Athleticorp was his coach.
Susan Estelle Sloan, later known by her married name Susan Kelsey, is a former Canadian competitive swimmer. Sloan won a bronze medal at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal, by swimming the butterfly leg for the third-place Canadian team in the women's 4x100-metre medley relay, together with teammates Wendy Hogg (backstroke), Robin Corsiglia (breaststroke), and Anne Jardin (freestyle). At the 1978 World Championships in Berlin, she and her Canadian teammates won a bronze medal in the 4x100-metre freestyle relay.

Sloane Elmo Farrington was a Bahamian competitive sailor and Olympic medalist. He won a bronze medal in the Star class at the 1956 Summer Olympics in Melbourne, together with Durward Knowles. He also won gold in the 1959 Pan American Games star class. He had previously represented Great Britain at the 1948 Summer Olympics.

Laird Sloan was a Canadian sprinter. He competed in the men's 400 metres at the 1956 Summer Olympics. He finished second in the 1954 British Empire and Commonwealth Games 4 x 440 yards relay. In the 1954 British Empire and Commonwealth Games Sloan was eliminated in the semi-finals of the 440 yards.

Edwin Marvin Rick was an American middle-distance runner. He was educated at Erasmus Hall High School before attending Mercersburg Academy, where he trained under Scots American coach Jimmy Curran. He entered university at both Princeton and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He went on to compete in the men's 3000 metres steeplechase at the 1924 Summer Olympics.
Richard C. E. C. Dunn is a British rower. He won a gold medal at the 2001 World Rowing Championships in Lucerne with the men's coxless four. He represented Great Britain at the 2004 Summer Olympics in the coxless pair, where he came seventh with Toby Garbett.
Garrick Lenin Littlewood was a New Zealand judoka. He competed in the men's middleweight event at the 1972 Summer Olympics. Littlewood died in Auckland on 24 July 2018.
