Roland Chia Ming Shen is a Malaysian politician from BERSATU. He was the Member of Sabah State Legislative Assembly for Inanam from 2013 to 2018.
Roland was appointed as the Chief of BERSEKUTU Wing of BERSATU Sabah on 14 October 2021. [1] He is also the Political secretary for Chief Minister of Sabah,Hajiji Noor.

The United Sabah Party is a political party of Sabah. The PBS was founded by Joseph Pairin Kitingan in 1985 and it is Sabah's oldest local party. In August 2020,PBS confirmed that they would be using their own logo and flag until Sabah's local coalition is established under Registrar of Societies (RoS). Since 2020,the PBS acts as an allied partner,providing confidence and supply to the ruling federal Perikatan Nasional (PN) coalition.

Sabah People's United Front or in Malay Parti Bersatu Rakyat Jelata Sabah is more commonly known by its abbreviation BERJAYA,was a political party based in the state of Sabah,Malaysia. BERJAYA was formed by former United Sabah National Organisation (USNO) secretary-general Harris Salleh who was later joined by Fuad Stephens,who served as the first Chief Minister of Sabah as well as president of the United Pasokmomogun Kadazan Organisation (UPKO). Stephens became the fifth Chief Minister after BERJAYA won the 1976 state election in April but died in June the same year,being succeeded by Salleh. Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Lajim Ukin was a Malaysian politician. He was the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Beaufort constituency in Sabah from 2008 to 2013,the Deputy Minister of Transport from 2008 to 2009,and the Deputy Minister for Housing and Local Government from 2009 to 2012;in the federal Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition government. Lajim previously served as Deputy Chief Minister of Sabah for three terms from 1999. He was also the Leader of the Opposition in the Sabah State Legislative Assembly (2013–2016). Lajim was the Malaysian United Indigenous Party (BERSATU) supreme council member and also Amanah Ikhtiar Malaysia (AIM) executive chairman at the time of his death in 2021.

A member of the Malaysian United Indigenous Party (BERSATU) and its Vice President since August 2020 and State Chairman of Sabah since December 2022,he has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Beluran since November 1999. He served as Minister of Agriculture and Food Industries in the Perikatan Nasional (PN) administration under former Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin from March 2020 to the collapse of the PN administration in August 2021. He was reappointed to the same post for a second term in the Barisan Nasional (BN) administration under former Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob from August 2021 until the dissolution of the BN government in November 2022,when BN lost its reelection campaign in the 2022 general election. Prior to serving in the Cabinet,Kiandee was the Chairman of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) in the Pakatan Harapan (PH) administration from 2018 to 2019 and Deputy Speaker of the Dewan Rakyat in the BN administration from 2008 to 2018.
The Federated Sabah People's Front or Barisan Rakyat Sabah Bersekutu (BERSEKUTU) was a political party based in Kota Kinabalu,Sabah,Malaysia. The party was formed in March 1998 by the former Chief Minister of Sabah,Harris Salleh who wanted to replicate the success of Sabah People's United Front (Berjaya) he once led.
The Malaysian United Indigenous Party,abbreviated BERSATU or PPBM,is a nationalist political party in Malaysia. The party was preceded by the United Indigenous Association of Malaysia. It is a major component party within the Perikatan Nasional coalition and the Barisan Nasional coalition,after the collapse of the Pakatan-led government. BERSATU was approved and fully registered on 14 January 2017 by the Registrar of Societies (ROS) and the use of the BERSATU logo was authorized by the Malaysian Election Commission (SPR). Datuk Mohamaddin bin Ketapi is a Malaysian politician who served as the Minister of Tourism,Arts and Culture in the Pakatan Harapan (PH) administration under former Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad from July 2018 to the collapse of the PH administration in February 2020. He served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Lahad Datu from October 2019 to November 2022 and for Silam from May 2018 to October 2019,Member of the Sabah State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Segama since September 2020 and Lahad Datu from August 1986 to October 1990. He also served as the State Assistant Minister of Industrial and Rural Development of Sabah in the United Sabah Party (PBS) state administration under former Chief Minister Joseph Pairin Kitingan from 1986 to 1990. He is a member of the Parti Bangsa Malaysia (PBM),a party aligned with the ruling Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition. He was also member of the Malaysian United Indigenous Party (BERSATU),a component party of the ruling Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) and Perikatan Nasional (PN) coalitions,member of the Heritage Party (WARISAN) and member of the PBS. He has also served as the 1st State Chairman of PBM of Sabah since August 2022. On 30 October 2021,he left WARISAN and became independent in support for GRS. Later,he officially became a member of BERSATU on 26 November 2021. However on 28 June 2022,he left BERSATU and became independent again in support for BN and GRS ruling coalitions after joining it only seven months prior. He then joined PBM and was appointed as its State Chairman of Sabah exactly two months later after leaving BERSATU on 28 August 2022.

The 2020–2022 Malaysian political crisis was a political crisis in Malaysia. It was caused by several members of the 14th parliament (MPs) changing party support,leading to the loss of a parliamentary majority,the collapse of two successive coalition governments,and the resignation of two Prime Ministers in less than 18 months.
