Ross Edwards (born 1 December 1942) is a former Australian cricketer. Edwards played in 20 Test matches for Australia,playing against England,West Indies and Pakistan. He also played in nine One Day Internationals including the 1975 Cricket World Cup. He was a right-handed batsman and superb[ citation needed ] cover fielder as well as a part-time wicket-keeper.
Edwards was born on 1 December 1942 in Cottesloe,Western Australia. [1] His father,Edmund Edwards,played twice for Western Australia as a wicket-keeper. [2] [3]
In the 1971–72 Sheffield Shield season he made four centuries and went to England in 1972 at the age of 29 and got his first chance at Nottingham where he made an unbeaten 170. He made ducks in his next two innings however.[ citation needed ]
In 1974–75 Edwards scored his second century against England when he hit 115 in the Perth Test match. He made 99 at Lord's in 1975.[ citation needed ]
Kumar Chokshanada Sangakkara born 27 October 1977 is a Sri Lankan former professional cricketer who represented Sri Lanka in 134 Test matches from 2000 to 2015,including fifteen as captain. In first-class cricket,he played for Nondescripts Cricket Club from 1997–98 to 2013–14 and for Surrey County Cricket Club from 2015 to 2017. He also played for numerous franchise teams. He was born in Matale,Central Province.

Adam Craig Gilchrist is an Australian cricket commentator and former international cricketer and captain of the Australia national cricket team. He was an attacking left-handed batsman and record-breaking wicket-keeper,who redefined the role for the Australia national team through his aggressive batting. Widely regarded as one of the greatest wicket-keeper-batsmen in the history of the game,Gilchrist held the world record for the most dismissals by a wicket-keeper in One Day International (ODI) cricket until it was surpassed by Kumar Sangakkara in 2015 and the most by an Australian in Test cricket. Gilchrist was a member of the Australian team that won three consecutive world titles in a row:the 1999 Cricket World Cup,the 2003 Cricket World Cup,and the 2007 Cricket World Cup,along with winning the 2006 ICC Champions Trophy.

Denesh Ramdin is a Trinidadian cricketer who plays as a right-handed wicketkeeper-batsman. Budhisagar Krishnappa Kunderan was an Indian cricketer. He played as a wicket keeper for the most of his career,and was an exciting but unorthodox right-handed batsman who competed for international selection with contemporary Farokh Engineer. In his eighteen Tests between 1960 and 1967,he scored 981 runs with two centuries and a batting average of 32.70. With the gloves he took 23 catches and executed seven stumpings.

The England cricket team toured Australia and New Zealand between October 1962 and March 1963 with a one-match stopover in Colombo,en route to Australia. Formerly an Australian rules footballer,he is currently a wicket-keeper who plays for the Australian national team in test match and one day formats. In domestic cricket,he plays for South Australia and Adelaide Strikers. He was the captain of the Greater Western Sydney Giants in 2010,but when they joined the Australian Football League in 2012,he was left out of the squad and returned to his home state of South Australia,where he began to play domestic cricket.
