Running with the Wolves is the debut extended play (EP) by Norwegian singer-songwriter Aurora. It was released on 4 May 2015 via Decca and Universal Music.
According to Aurora, every song of the EP has a different theme, which she described that there was "a very morbid one, a dreamy one, an animalistic one and then a quite sad one." [1] "Runaway" was released as the lead single of the EP on 7 February 2015 through Petroleum Records. [2] The title track was released as the second and final single of the album. The song has also been adapted to the film Wolfwalkers (2020) produced by Tom Moore. Previous singles "Awakening" and "Under Stars" were included on the vinyl edition of the EP.
Running with the Wolves was released on 4 May 2015. [3] [4]
To promote the EP, Aurora did several performances. She performed at the 2015 Nobel Peace Prize Concert. [5] She has played a sold-out headline show in London and supported Of Monsters and Men at Brixton Academy in November 2015. [6] "Runaway" was used at the finale of the third season of the Fox American television psychological thriller series The Following . [7]

"Unintended" is a song by English rock band Muse, released as the fifth and final single from their 1999 debut album, Showbiz. It peaked at number 20 on the UK Singles Chart in June 2000 and reached number five in Norway in 2008.
"Be Mine!" is a song by Swedish recording artist Robyn, written and composed by herself and producer Klas Åhlund for her self-titled fourth studio album (2005). "Little Monster" is a song written by Mike Kerr and Ben Thatcher of British rock duo Royal Blood. The song was originally recorded by the duo for release as a single, appearing on the band's second single of the same name, released by Black Mammoth Records and Warner Bros. Records on 10 February 2014. The single marked the band's first release under Warner Bros. Records after signing with the label in 2013. The track later appeared as the second track on the band's debut extended play Out of the Black, and as the sixth track on the band's eponymous debut studio album, Royal Blood. The song is included as a playable track in Guitar Hero Live.
Aurora Aksnes, known mononymously as Aurora, is a Norwegian singer, songwriter and record producer. Born in Stavanger and raised in the towns of Høle and Os, she began writing her first songs and learning dance at the age of six. After some of her songs were uploaded online and became popular in Norway, she signed a recording contract with Petroleum Records, Decca and Glassnote Records in 2014. Aurora gained recognition with her debut extended play (EP), Running with the Wolves (2015), which contained the sleeper hit "Runaway". Later that year, she provided the backing track for the John Lewis Christmas advert, singing a cover of the Oasis song "Half the World Away".

"Glitter" is a song recorded by Japanese recording girl group Perfume for their third studio album, JPN (2011). It was written, composed, arranged, and produced by Japanese musician and Capsule member Yasutaka Nakata. The song was included as a B-side track for the group's single, "Spice". Musically, "Glitter" was described as a technopop song, influenced by dance music. Two versions were released; the original composition, and the remix that appeared on the parent album. It has appeared as the theme song for one commercial and television series in Japan.
Danish singer Oh Land has released six studio albums, four extended plays (EPs), 31 singles, nine promotional singles, and 15 music videos. When signed to Fake Diamond Records, Oh Land released her debut album, Fauna, in November 2008. Following a performance at the 2009 SXSW event, she met a representative from Epic Records and signed with the label. She released her major-label debut single "Sun of a Gun" in October 2010, which charted in five countries and served as the lead single to her 2011 self-titled studio album. Oh Land peaked at number five in Denmark and also entered the Billboard 200 in the United States. It would go on to be certified Platinum for selling over 20,000 copies in the former country. Super Fake Nice is the second EP by American pop rock band Self, released through El Camino Media on July 29, 2014. Originally announced as an album in 2007, it is the band's first studio release since Gizmodgery (2000), ending a 14-year break. The EP primarily utilizes a pop rock sound. The singles "Looks and Money" and "Runaway" supported it, with the latter achieving mainstream success alongside its music video.
Infections of a Different Kind is the second studio album by Norwegian singer-songwriter and record producer Aurora. It was released digitally on 28 September 2018 and physically on 1 November 2019 by Decca and Glassnote Records. It serves as the first part of a two-part album, the second part being her third studio album A Different Kind of Human (2019). Aurora enlisted producers Askjell Solstrand, Jakwob, Couros and MyRiot, along with previous collaborators Magnus Skylstad and Electric.
