Ruxanda Glavan (born 5 April 1980) [3] is a Moldovan politician,who since 30 July 2015 until 25 July 2017 served as Minister of Health of Moldova. Previously,since 18 February 2015 until 30 July 2015 she served as Minister of Labour,Social Protection and Family of Moldova. Between 2013-2015 Ruxanda Glavan was Deputy Minister of Labour,Social Protection and Family. [4]
On 1 May 2020,Glavan joined the parliamentary group Pro Moldova, [5] which became a political party on 22 June. [6]
Vladimir Voronin is a Moldovan politician. He was the third President of Moldova from 2001 until 2009 and has been the leader of the Party of Communists of Moldova (PCRM) since 1994. He was Europe's first democratically elected communist party head of state after the dissolution of the Eastern Bloc.

Vladimir Filat,commonly referred to as Vlad Filat,is a Moldovan businessman and politician,founder of Liberal Democratic Party of Moldova. He was the Prime Minister of Moldova from 25 September 2009 to 25 April 2013. He also was appointed as the Interim President of Moldova for a brief period of time in 2010. Following his conviction on charges of accepting bribes,Filat was released from jail in December 2019,6 years earlier than his initial sentence.
Igor Dodon is a Moldovan politician who previously served as the President of Moldova from 23 December 2016 to 24 December 2020. He currently serves as the leader of the Party of Socialists of the Republic of Moldova. He served as Minister of Economy and Trade in the governments of Vasile Tarlev and Zinaida Greceanîi from September 2006 to September 2009 and was a member of the Parliament of Moldova from 2009 to 2016. He lost his bid for re-election in 2020 to Maia Sandu,whom he had defeated four years earlier in the 2016 Moldovan presidential election.
Maia Sandu is a Moldovan politician who has been the President of Moldova since 24 December 2020. She is the founder and former leader of the Party of Action and Solidarity (PAS) and former Prime Minister of Moldova from 8 June 2019 until 14 November 2019,when the government collapsed after a vote of no-confidence. Sandu was Minister of Education from 2012 to 2015 and member of the Parliament of Moldova from 2014 to 2015,and again in 2019.

On 20 February 2020,together with five Members of the Parliament,Andrian Candu formed the "PRO MOLDOVA" Parliamentary Group,which was later registered as a political party,which he chaired for 1.5 years.

The StrelețCabinet was the Cabinet of Moldova from 30 July to 29 October 2015. It consisted of ministers from the Liberal Democratic Party (PLDM),the Democratic Party (PDM) and the Liberal Party (PL),who together formed the Alliance for European Integration III. The Cabinet was installed after a successful vote of confidence held in the Parliament of Moldova on 30 July 2015. It was dismissed by Parliament on 29 October amid ongoing protests,lasting 3 months. A new cabinet was formed only on 20 January 2016;until then the Deputy Prime Minister for Social Affairs Gheorghe Brega was acting Prime Minister.

The COVID-19 pandemic in Moldova was a part of the worldwide pandemic of coronavirus disease 2019 caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2. The virus was confirmed to have reached the Republic of Moldova on 7 March 2020,when a Moldovan woman who returned from Italy tested positive for the novel coronavirus. As the number of infected people started to rise during the next days,the Parliament declared a state of emergency on 17 March 2020 for the entire territory of the Republic of Moldova for a period of 60 days.
The Modern Democratic Party is a centre-right political party of the Republic of Moldova. It was founded and led by Andrian Candu,the former President of the Moldovan Parliament,under the original name of Pro Moldova. Since 2021,the acting president is Boris Foca,who changed the party's name to the Modern Democratic Party in 2023.
Igor Grosu is a Moldovan politician who is the President of the Parliament of Moldova since 29 July 2021. He has been a member of the Moldovan Parliament since March 2019. Grosu has been the leader of the Party of Action and Solidarity (PAS) since 9 December 2020.
During the COVID-19 pandemic,Romania has supported Moldova on several occasions,supplying it with medical equipment and supplies,volunteer Romanian experts and doctors and even a series of COVID-19 vaccine units that arrived on 27 February 2021,which allowed Moldova to start its vaccination program.
COVID-19 vaccination in Moldova started on 2 March 2021. During the COVID-19 pandemic,Moldova was very reliant on external help from other countries,having received donations of vaccines from Romania,the United Arab Emirates,Russia and China. In fact,Moldova's vaccination campaign started due to a donation from Romania on 27 February 2021 composed of 21,600 Oxford–AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine doses,with the first vaccinated person in the country being Alexandru Botizatu. Romania had promised earlier,on 29 December 2020,that it would help Moldova with a collaboration project which would include 200,000 vaccine doses to help Moldova combat the pandemic,but also other matters of the country. Romania subsequently made more donations on 27 March 2021 with 50,400 vaccine units;on 17 April 2021 with 132,000 vaccine doses,fulfilling its promise to Moldova;and on 7 May 2021 with 100,800 vaccine units even though this surpassed the promised 200,000 vaccine doses.
