S. Abdul Rahim is an Indian politician who was a member of the 14th Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly. He represented All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam party from Avadi constituency. [1]

He held office as Minister for Backward Classes & Minority Welfare.[ citation needed ]

The elections of 2016 resulted in his constituency being won by K. Pandiarajan. [2]

Political life

Rahim joined All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam at the age of 18 and he served twice as deputy chairman of Avadi municipality.[ citation needed ]

While on enquiry about why he backed Tamil Nadu Chief minister Edappadi.k.Pazhaniswamy on CAB he said that the party and the commands from the same are priority for him therefore the jamaath of Ranipet removed him from all the posts of Masjid of which he was a member before. He was a member of the 14th Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly from the Ranipet constituency. He represented the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam party. He was minister of the state for the Backward Classes, Most Backward Classes and Minorities Welfare.

V. N. P. Venkatraman is an Indian politician and was a member of the 14th Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly from the Alandur constituency. He represented the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam party after defeating Panruti S. Ramachandran in a by-election in 2014. Ramachandran had resigned the seat in December 2013 at the same time that he resigned from the Desiya Murpokku Dravida Kazhagam.
