S. Chris Anders is an American politician. He is the member-elect for the 97th district of the West Virginia House of Delegates. [2]
William Alison Anders was an American United States Air Force (USAF) major general,electrical engineer,nuclear engineer,NASA astronaut,and businessman. In December 1968,he was a member of the crew of Apollo 8,the first three people to leave low Earth orbit and travel to the Moon. Along with fellow astronauts Frank Borman and Jim Lovell,he circled the Moon ten times,and broadcast live images and commentary back to Earth,including the Christmas Eve Genesis reading. During one of the mission's lunar orbits,he took the iconic Earthrise photograph.

Joseph Anthony Manchin III is an American politician and businessman serving as the senior United States senator from West Virginia,a seat he has held since 2010. Manchin was the 34th governor of West Virginia from 2005 to 2010 and the 27th secretary of state of West Virginia from 2001 to 2005. He became the state's senior U.S. senator when Jay Rockefeller left office in 2015 and was West Virginia's only congressional Democrat until 2024,when he registered as an independent. Before entering politics,Manchin helped found and was the president of Enersystems,a coal brokerage company his family owns and operates.
