The SDSU Sports Deck is an outdoor multi-purpose stadium in San Diego, California, located on the campus of San Diego State University (SDSU). It is the home of the San Diego State Aztecs men's soccer, women's soccer, and women's track & field teams. The Aztecs compete in NCAA Division I as a member of the Mountain West Conference (MW) for women's soccer and women's track & field, and the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) for men's soccer.
The facility is built atop the university's two-story parking structure (P7). [1] It was the temporary home of the San Diego Legion of Major League Rugby (MLR) in 2022; the Legion moved to Snapdragon Stadium in 2023. [2] It hosted the 2023 U.S. Open Cup second round matchup between San Diego Loyal SC and Albion San Diego. [3]
The Mountain West Conference (MW) is a collegiate athletic conference located in the United States, participating in NCAA Division I. Its football teams compete in the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS). The MW officially began operations on January 4, 1999. Geographically, the MW covers a broad expanse of the Western United States, with member schools located in California, Colorado, Idaho, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah, Wyoming, and Hawaii. Gloria Nevarez took over as commissioner of the MW on January 1, 2023, following the retirement of founding commissioner Craig Thompson.

Dignity Health Sports Park is a multi-use sports complex located on the campus of California State University, Dominguez Hills in Carson, California. It is approximately 14 miles (23 km) south of downtown Los Angeles, and its primary tenant is the LA Galaxy of Major League Soccer (MLS). The main stadium was also home to the Los Angeles Wildcats of the XFL in 2020. The LA Galaxy II of MLS Next Pro play their home matches at the complex's track and field facility. For 2020 and 2021, the stadium served as the temporary home of the San Diego State Aztecs football team.

The stadium opened in 1967 as San Diego Stadium; it was renamed Jack Murphy Stadium for sportswriter Jack Murphy from 1981 to 1997. From 1997 to 2017, the stadium's naming rights were owned by Qualcomm; it was known as Qualcomm Stadium. The naming rights expired on June 14, 2017, and were purchased by San Diego County Credit Union, renaming the stadium to SDCCU Stadium on September 19, 2017; those naming rights expired in December 2020. Demolition of San Diego Stadium began in December 2020; its last freestanding section was felled on March 22, 2021.

Jordan Schakel is an American professional basketball player for the Maine Celtics of the NBA G League. He played college basketball for the San Diego State Aztecs. Throughout his college career, Schakel scored 225 field goals from behind the 3-point line, ranking third in SDSU's history, and ended his college career with a total 1,034 points. He averaged 42.7 percent from behind the three-point line and 46.11 percent during his final year, ranking third nationally in the 2020–21 season. Schakel graduated with a degree in marketing from the SDSU Fowler College of Business and was named a Scholar Athlete in each semester.
