Santiago High School, or Corona Santiago, is a public high school located in Corona, California, United States. It is a California Distinguished School and is one of eight high schools in the Corona-Norco Unified School District, serving grades 9 through 12.
Santiago High School was opened on September 5, 1995 in Corona, California. The school was located on South Main Street until its current campus was built on Foothill Parkway and opened in 1999 to accommodate a growing student population. The old campus on South Main Street was then converted into the nearby Citrus Hills Intermediate School, which was established the same year. [4] [5]
Santiago High School offers several acclaimed performing arts programs for students to participate in, some of which include a theater program, a choir program, and an instrumental music program.
Santiago is home to an award-winning instrumental music program known as the BOSS (Bands and Orchestras of Santiago Sharks). It consists of four large concert bands, a string orchestra, several jazz ensembles, a marching band and drumline, and a championship color guard. [6]
The BOSS is a three-time participant of the Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, California, having marched in 2013, 2018, and 2024. The group also competes at several SCSBOA parade band reviews each year. [7] [8] [9]

Many of the nation's top high school marching bands participate, along with college and organizational marching bands. Prior to the parade, most of the bands will participate in one of three "Bandfest" shows at Pasadena City College and at other Southern California venues.
Jenks High School is a secondary school located within Tulsa County in Jenks, Oklahoma, United States. It is a part of Jenks Public Schools, which first opened the high school location in 1955 and completing the junior and senior high school in 1959. The 2017–18 UCLA Bruins women's basketball team represented the University of California, Los Angeles during the 2017–18 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Bruins, led by seventh-year head coach Cori Close, played their home games at the Pauley Pavilion and were members of the Pac-12 Conference. They finished the season 27–8, 14–4 in Pac-12 play, to finish in a tie for third place. They advanced to the semifinals of the Pac-12 women's tournament where they lost to Oregon. They received an at-large bid to the NCAA women's tournament in which they defeated American and Creighton in the first and second rounds, respectively. They went on to defeat Texas in the Sweet Sixteen and advance to the program's first Elite Eight since 1999. They lost to Mississippi State in the Elite Eight.
Aaron Kyle Wise is an American professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour. In 2018 he earned his inaugural win on the PGA Tour at the AT&T Byron Nelson and was named the 2018 Rookie of the Year.
Monique Charice Billings is an American professional basketball player for the Golden State Valkyries of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) and for the Guangdong Vermilion Birds of the Women's Chinese Basketball Association (WCBA). She played college basketball with the UCLA Bruins. Billings was selected 15th overall by the Atlanta Dream in the 2018 WNBA draft. As a child in elementary school, she attended Saint Edward Catholic School in Corona, California.
