Sari Ojaq (Persian : ساري اجاق‎, also Romanized as Sārī Ojāq; also known as Sheykh ʿAskar)^[1] is a village in Avajiq-e Shomali Rural District, Dashtaki District, Chaldoran County, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 418, in 83 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script, which itself evolved from the Aramaic alphabet.

Avajiq-e Jonubi Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Dashtaki District, Chaldoran County, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 2,877, in 625 families. The rural district has 17 villages.

Dashtaki District is a district (bakhsh) in Chaldoran County, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 9,069, in 1,885 families. The District has one city: Avajiq. The District has two rural districts (dehestan): Avajiq-e Jonubi Rural District and Avajiq-e Shomali Rural District.
