Seth Campbell (born 29 December 2004) is a professional Australian rules footballer playing for the Richmond Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). [1]
Originally from Burnie, Tasmania, Campbell played for North Launceston in the Tasmanian Football League. [2]
Campbell was drafted by Richmond in the 2023 rookie draft but missed most of the 2023 season with leg and groin injuries. He made his AFL debut in opening round of the 2024 season. [3] Campbell kicked 2 goals from his 9 disposals on debut in the loss to Gold Coast. [4] In a 2024 season in which Richmond finished last on the ladder, Campbell played 21 games for the year and was awarded with Richmond's Bill Cosgrove/Harry Jenkins Best First Year Player award. [5]
In round 1, 2025, Campbell sealed the victory against Carlton with a goal following which he celebrated with a backflip. [6] Two weeks later, Campbell backed up his good form with a career-high four goals against St Kilda.
