Sheikh Zayed International Airport( IATA : RYK, ICAO : OPRK), also known as Rahim Yar Khan Airport, is located at Rahim Yar Khan, in the Punjab province of Pakistan. It is named after Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who funded the construction of the airport and the road to his palace in Rahim Yar Khan. [3] [4]
During the 2025 India–Pakistan conflict, Indian launched rockets cratered the airport runway, damaged the Royal Lounge and a 100 ft (30 m)-wide crater was created in the apron area. [5] [6]
