The 07A01, 09A02 and the 12A01 train (formerly known as AC09 and AC10) are current rolling stocks used on the Line 7, Line 9 and Line 12 of Shanghai Metro. They were first entered service in November 2008 on Line 9. [2]

In 2014, AC10 renamed 07A01, AC09A renamed 09A02 and AC09B renamed 12A01. [3] [4]

Overview

The contract includes a total of 124 six-car trains and divided into three type of stocks: AC09A for Line 9, AC09B for Line 12 and AC10 for Line 7. All AC09 and AC10 trains are designed by Bombardier and built by CNR Changchun Railway Vehicles. [2]

AC09A

The AC09A trains (currently known as 09A02) are assigned for Line 9 service. The trains have livery in white and light blue. During the Expo 2010, five AC09A trains were temporarily assigned to Line 13 and ran Madang Road station - Shibo Avenue station shuttle service. [5]

AC09B

The AC09B trains (currently known as 12A01) are assigned for Line 12 service. The trains have livery in white and dark green. AC09Bs feature electronic strip maps to show the stations, route and transfers of Line 12. Some of windows on every car have a LED display to show the train service's terminal station.

AC09Bs and AC19s are the last rolling stocks formerly named with "AC-series" of Shanghai Metro. [6]

AC10

The AC10 trains (currently known as 07A01) are assigned for Line 7 service. The trains have livery in white and orange. Before the entering service, two delivered AC10 trains' head were featured an Expo 2010's logo.

Maintenance

All three types of trains are maintained by Shentong Alstom Vehicles Corporation (SAVC, a joint venture lead by Shentong Metro and Alstom), including overhaul. [3] [4]

Line 10 is a southwest–northeast line of the Shanghai Metro network that opened for service on April 10, 2010. The line runs from Jilong Road to Hongqiao Railway Station, with a branch line from Longxi Road to Hangzhong Road. It has been given the unofficial nickname “Golden Line” as it links many of the city's tourist attractions like Yuyuan and Xintiandi. It connects the Hongqiao International Airport with the downtown core of Shanghai, and also the dense residential districts of Yangpu and Hongkou. It is the only line in the system with numbered station codes. It is the first high-density and high-volume fully automatic subway line in mainland China, operating with GoA4 unattended train operation. The line is colored lilac on system maps.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Line 15 (Shanghai Metro)</span> Metro line in Shanghai

Line 15 of the Shanghai Metro is a north-south metro line in the city of Shanghai that opened on 23 January 2021. The line begins at Gucun Park in Baoshan District at its northern end, and terminates at Zizhu Hi-tech Park in Minhang District at its southern end, via Shanghai West Railway Station and Shanghai South Railway Station. It will be 42.3 kilometres (26.3 mi) in length and have 30 stations. The line is one of Shanghai Metro's new batch of high capacity fully automated and driverless lines along with Lines 14 and 18. The line is colored ivory on system maps.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Pujiang line</span> Shanghai Metro line

The Pujiang line of Shanghai Metro is an automated, driverless, rubber-tired Shanghai Metro line in the town of Pujiang in the Shanghainese district of Minhang. It was originally conceived as phase 3 of Shanghai Metro line 8, but afterwards was constructed as a separate line, connecting with line 8 at its southern terminus, Shendu Highway. The line opened for passenger trial operations on March 31, 2018. It is the first automated, driverless people mover line in the Shanghai Metro, and has 6 stations with a total length of 6.689 kilometres (4.156 mi). The people mover was expected to carry 73,000 passengers a day. The line is colored gray on system maps.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Jinghong Road station</span> Metro station in Shanghai, China

Jinghong Road, formerly West Huajing is a metro station on the Line 15 of the Shanghai Metro. Located along an unbuilt section of Jinghong Road near its intersection with an unbuilt section of Huaji Road and straddling the boundary between Minhang and Xuhui districts in the city of Shanghai, the station was scheduled to open with the rest of Line 15 in 2020. However, the station eventually opened on 23 January 2021 following a one-month postponement. Half-Trains terminated here and trains would have to switch tracks to return to northbound track towards Gucun Park, until the south terminal station of short-route trains was extended to Shuangbai Road station.

The 01A01 and the 01A02 train are current rolling stocks used on the Line 1 of Shanghai Metro. They are built by Adtranz and Siemens Mobility, with first delivery in 1992. These cars are numbered 92011–92241, 93011-93481, 94011-94241, 014352-014643, 14652 and 14663.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Shanghai Metro AC01 and AC02</span> Rolling stock of Shanghai Metro Line 1 and Line 2

The 01A03, 01A04 and the 02A01 train are current rolling stocks used on the Line 1 and Line 2 of Shanghai Metro. They are built by Adtranz, Siemens Mobility and CSR Zhuzhou Locomotive, with modified by Shentong Metro between 2023 and 2024.

The 09A01 train is a current rolling stock used in Shanghai Metro, which originally ordered for Line 1 extension, but is currently assigned to Line 9 service due to the production discontinued of expansion cars. The trains were developed by Bombardier and built by CNR Changchun Railway Vehicles.

The 11A01 train is a model of rolling stock operated on Line 11 of Shanghai Metro. They are manufactured by CSR Zhuzhou Locomotives. A total of 396 cars were built.
