Shatabdi Wadud is a Bangladeshi film and television actor. He won Bangladesh National Film Award in Best Actor in a Negative Role for his role in the film Guerrilla (2011). [1]

Career

In 1985 Wadud joined a drama club Artonad. He joined theatre troupe Theatre Centre in 1991 and Prachyanat in 1997. [2] His debut performance in television was in Shonkito Podojatra. [2]

Anil Bagchir Ekdin is a 2015 Bangladeshi drama film directed by Morshedul Islam. The film was based on Humayun Ahmed's novel of the same name. It won six awards, including the awards for Best Film and Best Director at the 40th Bangladesh National Film Awards.

Operation Sundarbans or Operation Sundarban is a Bangladeshi wildlife action thriller movie. The film was co-written and directed by Dipankar Sengupta Dipon. The film was produced by RAB Welfare Cooperative Society Ltd. Nazim-ud-Doula and Dipon wrote the screenplay. The plot is loosely based on real operations of RAB during the surrender of robbers of the Sundarbans as well as the struggle of Sundarbans' natives. It stars Riaz, Ziaul Roshan, Siam Ahmed, Taskeen Rahman, Shatabdi Wadud, Nusraat Faria and Darshana Banik, while Manoj Pramanik, debutant Samina Bashar, Dipu Imam, Ehsanur Rahman also joins the cast. The film begun its shooting on 20 December 2019 at Satkhira. This film got 3 national film awards in 2022 in Comedy, Male Singer category and Khokon Mollah in the Best Make-up Man category.
