The Sing Tao Daily is among Hong Kong's oldest Chinese language newspapers. It is owned by Sing Tao News Corporation, of which Kwok Ying-shing is chairman. Its English-language sister is the free newspaper The Standard.

The Standard is an English-language free newspaper in Hong Kong with a daily circulation of 200,450 in 2012. It was formerly called the Hongkong Standard and changed to HKiMail during the Internet boom but partially reverted to The Standard in 2001.

Sing Tao Holdings Limited was a Bermuda-incorporated company, but headquartered in Hong Kong. The company was listed in the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong. The company was a media and property conglomerate until it was dismantled in 2002. After selling the main media business and subsequent takeover in mid-2002, the legal person of the listed company, along with its property business, was renamed Shanghai Ming Yuan Holdings.

Headline Daily is a free weekday mass-market newspaper in Hong Kong. It was launched on 12 July 2005, by the Sing Tao group, as the territory's second free Chinese-language newspaper, after Metro Daily. Coverage includes local and international news, business, entertainment, lifestyle and sports. Soon after launch, it had a daily circulation of around 900,000-1,000,000.

Hysan Development Company Limited is a Hong Kong property investment, management and development company that is listed on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong. The company was formed in Hong Kong in 1923, when businessman Lee Hysan acquired plots of land in East Point, now known as Causeway Bay, Hong Kong Island. On 30 April 1928, Hysan, who was aged 48–49, was killed. His descendant expanded the plots of land into a business empire. According to the South China Morning Post, Hysan was the largest commercial landlord in the Causeway Bay area in 2018.

Chow Tai Fook group is a Hong Kong–based, privately-owned conglomerate with holdings in the jewellery, property development, hotel, department store, transportation, energy, telecommunications, port, casino, and other businesses. Despite the holding companies of the group, namely Chow Tai Fook Capital Limited, Chow Tai Fook (Holding) Limited, Chow Tai Fook Enterprises Limited, etc. being privately owned, the group has been partially listed on the stock market via associate company New World Development and subsidiary Chow Tai Fook Jewellery Group Limited. Tin Tin Daily News also known as Tin Tin Yat Pao was a newspaper in Hong Kong, published between 1960 and 2000. In later years it took a pro-Beijing editorial stand. It was founded by the Wai Kee-shun family, who made their fortune in pharmaceutical industry and was the first colour-printed newspaper in Hong Kong.

Charles Ho Tsu-kwok, GBM is a Hong Kong businessman who was the chairman of the Sing Tao News Corporation Limited between 2001 and 2021 and an independent non-executive director of Shun Tak Holdings. As a member of the pro-Beijing camp, Ho maintains good relations with the Chinese government, and is appointed as a National Committee Member of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference representing Fujian, serving in that post since 1998. Ho was awarded the Grand Bauhinia Medal, the highest award under the Hong Kong honours and awards system by Chief Executive CY Leung on July 1, 2014, although the decision to award Ho with such an award sparked controversy in the Hong Kong media.

Mingyuan Medicare Development Co., Ltd. formerly known as Shanghai Ming Yuan Holdings Limited and Sing Tao Holdings Limited, is a Bermuda-incorporated company, headquartered in Hong Kong. However, in the past 15 years its main business was based in the mainland China. The company was formerly listed in the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong.
