The Skovshoved Petrol Station (Danish : Skovshoved Tankstation) is a historic, still-operating filling station in Skovshoved at the northern outskirts of Copenhagen, Denmark. First opened in 1936, it was designed by Arne Jacobsen and is an example of the functionalist style typical of the time. It is Class A listed and was thoroughly restored in 2002. [1] The filling station was originally commissioned by Texaco but is now operated by Uno-X.
While the pumps and the roof are still used as a petrol station, the main building now houses an ice cream parlor, with no relation to the petrol station business and its operations.
The exterior of the building is dominated by the projecting oval canopy, colloquially known as "The Mushroom" (Danish : Paddehatten). It offers shade and shelter for filling motorists but, illuminated from beneath, also doubles as a sign at night.
Arne Emil Jacobsen, Hon. FAIA was a Danish architect and furniture designer. He is remembered for his contribution to architectural functionalism and for the worldwide success he enjoyed with simple well-designed chairs.

Uno-X is a chain of unmanned fuel stations throughout Norway and Denmark. It is operated as the low-cost section of YX Energi. The chain was originally created as a low cost chain in Denmark in the late 1950s. The rights to use the name in Sweden were sold to Britain's Burmah Oil. In 1991 Norsk Hydro acquired the 330 outlets of the Danish operation and five years later it bought the Swedish Uno-X chain from Burmah.

Vesterbrogade is the main shopping street of the Vesterbro district of Copenhagen, Denmark. The 1.5 km long street runs from the City Hall Square in the east to Pile Allé in Frederiksberg in the west where it turns into Roskildevej. On its way, it passes Copenhagen Central Station as well as the small triangular square Vesterbros Torv. Søllerød Town Hall, now renamed Rudersdal Town Hall, was built for the former Søllerød Municipality which in 2007 became part of Rudersdal Municipality, combining Søllerød and Birkerød. The building is located in Holte some 19 km to the north of Copenhagen's city centre. Designed by Danish architects Arne Jacobsen and Flemming Lassen, it was completed in 1942.
The Red Hill filling station on the west of the A6, Loughborough Road, approximately 300 metres (980 ft) north of Red Hill Circle in Birstall near Leicester, became a Grade II listed building in 2012.
Skovshoved is a former fishing village on the Øresund coast north of Copenhagen, Denmark. The area is part of Charlottenlund postal district and Gentofte Municipality. Local landmarks include Skovshoved Church, Skovshoved Hotel and the listed Arne Jacobsen-designed Skovshoved Petrol Station from 1938.
Cottageparken is a public park located on the border between Taarbæk to the north and Klampenborg to the south, adjacent to Jægersborg Dyrehave and Bellevue Beach, on the Øresund coast north of Copenhagen, Denmark. It is most notable for Den Røde Cottage and Den Gule Cottage, the only surviving buildings of Klampenborg Spa which opened at the site in the 1840s. They are now operated as restaurants. Den Røde Cottage has one star in the Michelin Guide. Until 2017 its chef was Anita Klemensen. The park is located within Klampenborg postal district but in Lyngby-Taarbæk Municipality.
Palægaragerne is an early Modernist parking facility and filling station located in a narrow courtyard at Dronningens Tværgade 4 in central Copenhagen, Denmark. It was built in the early 1930s and was the first multi-storey parking facility in Denmark. It takes its name after the neighboring Moltke Mansion. The parking facility and the canopy over the filling station were listed on the Danish registry of protected buildings and places by the Danish Heritage Agency on 13 July 1994. It is now owned by the property company Jeudan.
