Smalyavichy or Smolevichi (Belarusian : Смалявічы, romanized: Smalavičy; [lower-alpha 1] Russian : Смолевичи; Yiddish : סמאָלאָוויטש, romanized: Smolovich; Polish : Smolewicze; Lithuanian : Smaliavičai) is a town in Minsk Region, Belarus. It serves as the administrative center of Smalyavichy District. [1] It is situated on the Plisa River (a tributary of the Berezina). [2] As of 2024, it has a population of 22,679. [1]
