The men's snowboard cross competition of the 2015 Winter Universiade was held at Sulayr Snowpark, Sierra Nevada, Spain at February 6, 2015.
The qualification round and elimination round was completed on February 6.

The Cricket World Cup is the international championship of One Day International (ODI) cricket. The event is organised by the sport's governing body, the International Cricket Council (ICC), every four years, with preliminary qualification rounds leading up to a finals tournament. The tournament is one of the world's most viewed sporting events and is considered the "flagship event of the international cricket calendar" by the ICC.
The FA Cup, known officially as The Football Association Challenge Cup, is an annual knockout football competition in men's domestic English football. First played during the 1871–72 season, it is the oldest national football competition in the world. It is organised by and named after The Football Association. Since 2015, it has been known as The Emirates FA Cup after its headline sponsor. A concurrent women's tournament is also held, the FA Women's Cup.
Serena Jameka Williams is an American professional tennis player and former world No. 1 in women's single tennis. She has won 23 Grand Slam singles titles, the most by any player in the Open Era, and the second-most of all time behind Margaret Court (24). The Women's Tennis Association (WTA) ranked her world No. 1 in singles on eight separate occasions between 2002 and 2017. She reached the No. 1 ranking for the first time on July 8, 2002. On her sixth occasion, she held the ranking for 186 consecutive weeks, tying the record set by Steffi Graf. In total, she has been No. 1 for 319 weeks, which ranks third in the Open Era among female players behind Graf and Martina Navratilova.
Ding Junhui is a Chinese professional snooker player who has been considered the most successful Asian player in the history of the sport. Throughout his career, he has won 14 major ranking titles, including three UK Championships in 2005, 2009, and 2019; two Shanghai Masters titles in 2013 and 2016; and one German Masters title in 2014. He has also twice reached the final of the Masters, winning once in 2011. Representing China at the Asian Games, Ding has won five gold medals in individual and team events. In 2016, he became the first Asian player to reach the final of the World Championship. The same year, he won his first Six-red World Championship.
Mark James Williams, is a Welsh professional snooker player who is a three-time World Champion, winning in 2000, 2003, and 2018. Often noted for his single-ball long potting ability, Williams has earned the nickname "The Welsh Potting Machine".
Sir Andrew Barron Murray is a British professional tennis player from Scotland. He has been ranked world No. 1 by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) for 41 weeks, and finished as the year-end No. 1 in 2016. He has won three Grand Slam singles titles, including two at Wimbledon, and has reached eleven major finals in total. Murray was ranked in the top 10 for all but one month from July 2008 through October 2017, and finished no lower than No. 4 in eight of the nine year-end rankings during that span. Murray has won 46 ATP singles titles, including 14 ATP Masters 1000 events.
Roberta Vinci is a retired Italian tennis player and Grand Slam Champion, which completed her Career Grand Slam in double.. Until 6 April 2015, she held the position of world No. 1 in doubles, and reached a career-high of No. 7 in singles in May 2016. She is the fourth Italian woman to have reached the top 10 in singles, having attained the rank after Flavia Pennetta, Francesca Schiavone and Sara Errani. At 33 years and 4 days old, she became the oldest player ever to make her first appearance in the top 10.
Neil Robertson is an Australian professional snooker player. He made his first breakthrough into the top professional ranks in the 2006–07 season. He won the 2010 World Championship and was the world number one later in the same year, a ranking that he attained again in 2013 and 2014. On 10 November, Neil Robertson won the 2019 Champion of Champions tournament for the second time in his career and secured his 19th ranking event.
Mark Selby is an English professional snooker player and three-time World Snooker Champion. He has won 19 ranking titles, placing him joint seventh on the all-time list of ranking tournament wins. He has held the world number one position six times, having first topped the snooker world rankings in September 2011, and was ranked world number one for more than four years continuously between February 2015 and March 2019.
Judd Trump is an English professional snooker player from Bristol. A former world champion and the current world number one, he has won a career total of 20 ranking titles. He is one of 11 players to have won a career Triple Crown.
Kateryna Volodymyrivna Bondarenko is a tennis player from Ukraine. She was the doubles champion in 2008 at the Australian Open, partnering her sister Alona Bondarenko. Kateryna is the younger sister of professional tennis players Valeria and Alona.
Gary Anderson is a Scottish professional darts player, currently playing in the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC). He is a former BDO and WDF world number one, and a two-time PDC World Champion, having won the title in 2015 and 2016. His nickname is The Flying Scotsman.
John-Patrick Tracey "JP" Smith is an Australian professional tennis player who competes mainly on the ATP Challenger Tour, both in singles and doubles. He attended the University of Tennessee from 2007 through 2011 where he was a four-time All-American and made it to the college No. 1 ranking in both singles and doubles.

The 2014–15 FA Cup, also called the 2014–15 FA Challenge Cup, was the 134th occurrence of the FA Cup, the main domestic cup in English football and the oldest knockout competition in the world. It was the first season when the BBC and BT Sport hosted televised matches, seven years after the BBC lost the rights to ITV. The 2014–15 season's Cup also marked the first time that 3G artificial pitches were allowed in all rounds of the competition, designed to lower costs for maintenance. After Queens Park Rangers, Luton Town, Oldham Athletic and Preston North End trialled artificial pitches in the 1980s, they were made illegal in 1995.
Novak Djokovic defeated Andy Murray 7–6(7–5), 6–7(4–7), 6–3, 6–0 in the final to win the Men's Singles tennis title at the 2015 Australian Open. The defeat saw Murray lose the Australian Open final for the fourth time in his career, becoming the first man in the Open Era to achieve four runner-up finishes in Melbourne.

The 2015–16 Croatian Football Cup was the twenty-fifth season of Croatia's football knockout competition. The defending champions were Dinamo Zagreb, having won their thirteenth title the previous year by defeating RNK Split in the final.
The 2015–16 FA Cup was the 135th edition of the oldest recognised football tournament in the world. It was sponsored by Emirates, and known as The Emirates FA Cup for sponsorship purposes. It began with the Extra Preliminary Round on 15 August 2015, and concluded with the final on 21 May 2016. The FA Cup winner qualifies for the 2016–17 UEFA Europa League group stage.
