So Good Together is the twenty-fifth studio album by American country music singer Reba McEntire. It was released in 1999 and was preceded by the single "What Do You Say". "What Do You Say" peaked at number 3 on the country singles chart and was nominated for a Grammy for Best Short Form Video. It also became her highest charting single on the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at number 31 and becoming her first big crossover hit. The album was certified platinum by the RIAA.
The album peaked at number 5 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart and number 28 on the Billboard 200 with sales of 49,000 copies.

Breathe is the fourth studio album by American country music artist Faith Hill. It was released November 9, 1999, via Warner Bros. Records. It won a Grammy Award for Best Country Album. Breathe is one of the most successful country/pop albums to date. It has been certified 8× Platinum by the RIAA, for shipping eight million copies in the US. The album includes the singles "Breathe", "The Way You Love Me", "Let's Make Love", and "If My Heart Had Wings". "Breathe" and "The Way You Love Me" both reached number one on the US Billboard Hot Country Songs chart; the former also peaked at number 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was the top pop song of 2000 according to Billboard Year-End. Several of the album's tracks also charted from unsolicited airplay.
Strait Out of the Box is the first box set album by American country music artist George Strait. It contains four albums' worth of music, dating from 1976 to 1995. It mainly consists of Strait's singles, except for a select few that he decided to exclude. They were replaced by his choice of album cuts and several studio outtakes. It also contains his three singles recorded in the 1970s for indie label D Records, one of which, "I Just Can't Go on Dying Like This", was re-recorded for Strait's 2013 album Love Is Everything.
Heart Shaped World is the debut studio album of country music singer Jessica Andrews. It was released on March 23, 1999, and it produced four singles on the Hot Country Songs charts: "I Will Be There for You", "You Go First ", "Unbreakable Heart", and "I Do Now". "I Will Be There for You" was also included on the Nashville soundtrack to the 1998 film The Prince of Egypt. "Unbreakable Heart" was originally recorded by Carlene Carter on her 1993 album Little Love Letters.
Common Thread: The Songs of the Eagles is a tribute album to American rock band Eagles. It was released in 1993 on Giant Records to raise funds for the Walden Woods Project. The album features covers of various Eagles songs, as performed by country music acts. It was certified 3× Platinum in the United States by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) on June 27, 1994, honoring shipments of three million copies in the United States. Several cuts from the album all charted on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts after the album's release, the most successful being Travis Tritt's rendition of "Take It Easy" at number 21. Common Thread won all of its performers a Country Music Association Award for Album of the Year at the 1994 ceremony.
If You See Him is the twenty-third album by American country singer/actress Reba McEntire released on June 2, 1998. The lead single was "If You See Him/If You See Her", a duet with Brooks & Dunn, which was concurrently released on Brooks & Dunn's corresponding album If You See Her; the song reached Number One on the Hot Country Songs charts in 1998. "Forever Love", "Wrong Night" and "One Honest Heart" were all released as singles from the album as well, all of which reached Top 10 on the same chart.
The Greatest Hits is the first compilation album by country singer Clint Black. It compiles 12 hit songs from his first five albums. It also includes four new recordings: the singles "Like the Rain" and "Half Way Up", as well as "Cadillac Jack Favor" and a live cover of the Eagles' "Desperado". Black had originally covered this song in 1993 for the album, Common Thread: The Songs of the Eagles.
If You See Her is the fifth studio album by country music duo Brooks & Dunn, released in 1998 on Arista Nashville. The album featured five chart singles: "If You See Him/If You See Her", "How Long Gone", and "Husbands and Wives", all of which reached #1, plus "I Can't Get Over You" and "South of Santa Fe". This last song was the first single of Brooks & Dunn's career to miss Top 40 entirely, and was the last single to feature Kix Brooks on lead vocals instead of Ronnie Dunn. The album is a counterpart to Reba McEntire's album If You See Him, which shared the track "If You See Him/If You See Her". A bonus limited edition EP was made available when consumers bought both If You See Him and If You See Her at the same time. "Born and Raised in Black in White" is a cover of The Highwaymen song off their 1990 album, Highwayman 2.
Tight Rope is the sixth studio album by American country music duo Brooks & Dunn, released in 1999 on Arista Nashville. Their least successful album commercially, it was the first album of their career not to receive platinum certification from the RIAA; furthermore, only one of its three singles reached Top Ten on the country charts. The album's lead-off single was a cover of John Waite's 1984 single "Missing You". This cover peaked at #15 on the Hot Country Songs charts. Following it were the #19 "Beer Thirty" and the #5 "You'll Always Be Loved by Me". "Goin' Under Gettin' Over You" also reached #60 from unsolicited play as an album cut.
Greatest Hits is the first greatest hits compilation album by country music singer Clay Walker. It was released in 1998. Two previously unreleased tracks are included on this album; both were issued as singles in 1998. The former peaked at #35 on the Billboard country charts, while the latter was a #2 hit for Walker.
Time Marches On is the fourth studio album released by country music artist Tracy Lawrence. The title track spent three weeks at Number One on the Billboard country charts in 1996, becoming Lawrence's biggest chart hit to date. "Is That a Tear", "If You Loved Me", and "Stars Over Texas" were also released from this album, and all were Top 5 hits as well.
The Coast Is Clear is the fifth studio album released by the country music artist Tracy Lawrence. It produced five singles: "How a Cowgirl Says Goodbye", "Better Man, Better Off", "The Coast Is Clear", "One Step Ahead of the Storm" and "While You Sleep". Though the first two singles charted at #2 and #4 on the country chart, respectively, the title track was the first single of Lawrence's career to fall short of the Top Ten. "While You Sleep" missed the Top 40 entirely, and "One Step Ahead of the Storm" failed to chart at all. Lawrence did not release another studio album until Lessons Learned, in 2000.
The Very Best of Tracy Lawrence is a 2007 compilation album by country music artist Tracy Lawrence. It is his third greatest-hits album. This compilation comprises 21 of his Top Ten singles, arranged in chronological order, from his 1991 debut "Sticks and Stones" to 2003's "Paint Me a Birmingham". Of the songs on this album, only the 1994 single "Renegades, Rebels and Rogues" was not previously included on one of Lawrence's studio releases. The album has sold 348,900 copies in the United States as of April 2017.
Where Forever Begins is the second studio album by American country music artist Neal McCoy. It was released in 1992 on the Atlantic label. The album's title track was McCoy's first Top 40 hit on the Billboard country music charts. "Now I Pray for Rain" and "There Ain't Nothin' I Don't Like About You" were also released as singles.
Be Good at It is the sixth studio album released by American country music artist Neal McCoy. Released in late 1997 on Atlantic Records, it features the singles "If You Can't Be Good, Be Good at It"; "Party On"; "Love Happens Like That"; and "The Shake," which was reprised from McCoy's 1997 Greatest Hits compilation. Of these four singles, only "The Shake" reached Top Ten on the Billboard country charts. "21 to 17" was recorded by Doug Supernaw on his 1999 album Fadin' Renegade.
The Life of the Party is the seventh studio album by American country music artist Neal McCoy. Released in 1999, it contains the singles "I Was" and "The Girls of Summer", which peaked at #37 and #42, respectively, on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks charts that year. "Straighten up and Fly Right" is a cover of a Nat King Cole song.
I'm from the Country is the fifth studio album by American country music artist Tracy Byrd. Released in May 1998 as his final studio album for MCA Records, it produced only two singles: the title track and "I Wanna Feel That Way Again", both of which reached Top Ten on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks charts that year, peaking at #3 and #9, respectively. "I'm from the Country" was co-written by Richard Young, rhythm guitarist for the band The Kentucky Headhunters. The album was originally to be titled Walkin' the Line.
Highways & Heartaches is the fourth studio album by American country music artist Wade Hayes. His final studio album and his only album for Monument Records, it produced the minor singles "Up North " and "Goodbye Is the Wrong Way to Go", which peaked at #48 and #45, respectively, on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks charts.
Burn Your Playhouse Down – The Unreleased Duets is the 60th and final studio album by American country music singer George Jones released on August 19, 2008 on the Bandit Records label. It features duets never before released, including some that were cut from his 1994 duets album The Bradley Barn Sessions. The only new recording in the collection is "You And Me And Time", a song Jones recorded with his daughter by Tammy Wynette, Georgette. A music video accompanied the song. The album features several duets with artist from outside the country music pantheon, including Mark Knopfler, Leon Russell, and Keith Richards. The album peaked at number 15 on the Billboard country albums chart. Of the album's title track, Andrew Meuller of Uncut opined in July 2013, "The segue from Richards trying to sing like Jones to Jones actually singing like Jones is hilarious."
Play is the fourth studio album by American country music singer David Ball. It was released in 1999 on Warner Bros. Records. The album produced the singles "Watching My Baby Not Come Back" and "I Want To with You", which respectively reached numbers 47 and 67 on the Billboard country charts. Ball produced the album with Ben Fowler, except for "Watching My Baby Not Come Back", "Hasta Luego, My Love", "For You", and "When I Get Lonely", which were produced by Don Cook.

Two singles were released from the album, "Maybe I Mean Yes" and "No One Takes the Train Anymore". The former peaked at #48 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart. The album peaked at #25 on the Top Country Albums chart and #162 on the Billboard 200 and was certified Gold by the RIAA.
