South Seattle College (SSC, formerly South Seattle Community College) is a public community college in the Seattle neighborhoods of West Seattle and Georgetown. Founded in 1970, it is one of three colleges which make up the Seattle Colleges District. The Seattle Community Colleges District Board of Trustees voted unanimously in March 2014 to change the name of the District to Seattle Colleges and to change the names of the colleges to Seattle Central College, North Seattle College, and South Seattle College. [2] It is home to the South Seattle College Arboretum and incorporates the Georgetown Campus near Boeing Field.
Shoreline is a city in King County, Washington, United States. It is located between the city limits of Seattle and the Snohomish County border, approximately 9 miles (14 km) north of Downtown Seattle. As of the 2020 census, the population of Shoreline was 58,608, making it the 22nd largest city in the state. Based on per capita income, one of the more reliable measures of affluence, Shoreline ranks 91st of 522 areas in the state of Washington to be ranked.

Vigor Shipyards is the current entity operating the former Todd Shipyards after its acquisition in 2011. Todd Shipyards was founded in 1916, which owned and operated shipyards on the West Coast of the United States, East Coast of the United States and the Gulf. Todd Shipyards were a major part of the Emergency Shipbuilding Program for World War II.
Henry Cogswell College is a former private institution of higher learning that was based in Washington state from 1979 to 2006. The college offered bachelor's degrees in business administration, computer science, digital arts, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mechanical engineering technology, and professional management. It was named after temperance movement crusader Henry D. Cogswell. Historically, the college had an enrollment of 300 students that relied mainly on Boeing-related tuition.

Seattle Central College is a public college in Seattle, Washington. With North Seattle College and South Seattle College, it is one of the three colleges that comprise the Seattle Colleges District. The college has a substantial international student population served by the International Education Programs division as well as many immigrant and refugee students taking ESL courses through the Basic and Transitional Studies division. Seattle Central College also encompasses the Wood Construction Center and Seattle Maritime Academy, which are on separate campuses to house the very specific tools and workspaces needed.
Everett Community College (EvCC) is a public community college in Everett, Washington. EvCC educates more than 19,000 students every year at locations throughout Snohomish County, Washington, with most students and faculty at the main campus in Everett.
Everett Memorial Stadium is an outdoor sports complex in Everett, Washington, which includes a stadium for football and a ballpark for baseball. Opened in 1947, it has been the home field of the Everett AquaSox, a Minor League Baseball team in the High-A West, and its predecessor, the Everett Giants, since 1984. In 2019, the ballpark became known as Funko Field. The football stadium has been home to the Everett Reign, a women's football team, since 2013. The complex is owned by the Everett School District, whose schools use both stadiums for their athletic programs. It is also home to the Puget Sound Festival of Bands, an annual marching band competition. The facility was remodeled in 1998 to have a seating capacity of 3,682 people for baseball and 12,000 for football.
Henry M. Jackson High School is a public high school in Mill Creek, Washington, United States. Named after the late Henry M. Jackson, an Everett native and former U.S. Senator, the school opened on September 7, 1994, as the third high school in the Everett School District.
Hawthorne Hills is a residential neighborhood in Seattle, Washington. It is officially split between the neighborhoods of Bryant and Windermere, but is generally recognized as a distinct neighborhood. The northern boundary is Northeast 65th Street. The southern and eastern boundary is Sand Point Way. The western boundary is 40th Avenue Northeast. Hawthorne Hills is bounded on the north by View Ridge, on the east by Windermere, on the south by Laurelhurst, and on the west by Bryant. There is a sign for the neighborhood along Sand Point Way.
Kobe Terrace is a 1-acre (4,000 m2) public park in the International District neighborhood of Seattle, Washington. It incorporates the Danny Woo International District Community Garden. Named after Kobe, Seattle's sister city in Japan, it occupies most of the land bounded on the west by 6th Avenue S., on the north by S. Washington Street, on the east by Interstate 5, and on the south by S. Main Street.
The South Seattle College Arboretum is a 6-acre (24,000 m2) arboretum and botanical garden located at the north end of the South Seattle College campus in Seattle, Washington. It is open daily without charge. The Seattle Chinese Garden is adjacent.

Hillman City is a primarily residential neighborhood of southeast Seattle, Washington, located in the Rainier Valley and centered about a half mile south of the Columbia City neighborhood. It was annexed by Seattle in January 1907, along with the rest of the town of Southeast Seattle.

Eastmont is one of two CDPs that were created out of the former Seattle Hill-Silver Firs CDP in 2010, the other being Silver Firs. KVRU-LP is a low-power local radio station in southeast Seattle, Washington. The station was formerly named Rainier Valley Radio after the Rainier Valley area, where it broadcasts. It is owned by Southeast Effective Development (SEED), a non-profit economic development agency serving southeastern Seattle, which raised $400,000 to fund the station. The station broadcasts from studios in the Rainier Square Plaza housing development. KVRU began broadcasting online in 2015 and launched on the FM frequency in September 2017.
Washington State University Everett is a campus of Washington State University in Everett, Washington. The land-grant research university was founded in 1890 and the Washington State Legislature approved funding for WSU to expand to Snohomish County in 2011. The campus began with a 95,000-square foot building costing $64 million. The campus was founded in 2014, and courses began in late 2017.
The Everett Water Pollution Control Facility is a wastewater treatment plant in Everett, Washington, United States. It serves the city of Everett and discharges treated water into the Snohomish River. The facility is located at the south end of Smith Island, adjacent to Interstate 5 and Spencer Island Regional Park, a noted birdwatching spot.
