Spinaeschna watsoni is a species of dragonfly in the family Aeshnidae, ^[3] known as the tropical cascade darner. ^[4] It is a medium to large, dark brown dragonfly with greenish-yellow markings. ^[5] It is endemic to north-eastern Australia, ^[4] where it inhabits streams and rivers. ^[6]
