Starex University is a private university [3] located in the village Binola, Gurgaon district, Haryana, India. The university was established in 2016 by the Starex group [4] through The Haryana Private Universities (Second Amendment) Act, 2016, [5] which was passed in August 2016, [6] making it the 20th private university to be established through The Haryana Private Universities Act, 2006. [5]

Nalanda University University in Bihar, India

Nalanda University is an international and research-intensive university located in the historical city of Rajgir in Bihar, India. It was established by an Act of Parliament to emulate the famous ancient university of Nalanda, which functioned between the 5th and 13th centuries. The idea to resurrect Nalanda University was endorsed in 2007 at the East Asia Summit, represented mostly by Asian countries including China, Singapore, Japan, Malaysia and Vietnam, apart from Australia and New Zealand, and as such, the university is seen as one of the flagship projects of the Government of India. It has been designated as an "International Institution of National Importance" by the Parliament, and began its first academic session on 1 September 2014. Initially set up with temporary facilities in Rajgir, a modern campus spanning over 160 hectares is expected to be finished by the end of 2021. This campus, upon completion, will be the largest of its kind in India, and one of the largest in Asia.

Central University of Haryana, in Jant-Pali villages, Mahendragarh district of Haryana, India, has been established by an Act of Parliament: "The Central Universities Act, 2009" by the Government of India. The territorial jurisdiction of Central University of Haryana is for the whole of the Haryana. The first Convocation of the University was held on 1 March 2014. It is one of the 15 Central Universities established by MHRD, GoI.

SRM University, Haryana

SRM University, Haryana (SRMH), also known as SRM University, Delhi-NCR, Sonepat, is a private university located at the Rajiv Gandhi Education City in Sonepat, Haryana, India. The university was established in 2013 by the SRM Institute of Science & Technology Trust, Chennai through The Haryana Private Universities (Amendment) Act, 2013 which also established Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary University, Jagan Nath University, NCR, GD Goenka University and K.R. Mangalam University. The university is part of the SRM Educational Group which also includes the parent deemed university, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, headquartered in Chennai, and another private university, SRM University, Sikkim, among other institutes.

Bahra University

Bahra University is a private university located in Waknaghat, Solan district, Himachal Pradesh, India. The university was established in 2011 by the Rayat-Bahra Group through the Bahra University Act, 2010. The Rayat-Bahra Group also established Rayat Bahra University and other education institutes including Rayat Institute of Engineering & Information Technology.

World University of Design Private university in Haryana, India

World University of Design (WUD) is a private university located in Rajiv Gandhi Education City, Sonipat, Haryana, India. The university was established in 2018 through The Haryana Private Universities Act 2017 following the passing of the Bill in October 2017. It claims to be "India's first and only university dedicated to education in the creative domain".

Shri Rawatpura Sarkar University

Shri Rawatpura Sarkar University (SRU) is a private university located at the village Dhaneli in Raipur district, Chhattisgarh, India. It was established in 2018 by the Shri Rawatpura Sarkar Lok Kalyan Trust under the Chhattisgarh Private Universities (Amendment) Act, 2018. The foundation stone for its campus in the village Dhaneli, in Raipur district was laid on 11 October 2018. The university offers diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the fields of engineering and technology, science, art, pharmacy, fashion and interior design, management and commerce, library science, education, yoga and naturopathy and journalism and mass communication.
