Karnataka State Highway 3, commonly referred to as KA SH 3, is a normal state highway that runs north through Ramanagara, Bangalore Rural and Tumkur districts in the state of Karnataka, India. This state highway touches numerous cities and villages Viz.Kanakapura, Ramanagara, Magadi and Pavagada. The total length of the highway is 249 km. [1] SH 3 intersects with National Highway 948 at Kanakapura Town. Certain sections of this state highway (i.e Ramanagara - Kanakapura, Magadi - Dobbaspet) have been upgraded to NH-948A.

Chamarajanagar or Chamarajanagara is the southernmost district in the state of Karnataka, India. It was carved out of the original larger Mysore District in 1998. Chamarajanagar town is the headquarters of this district.

The Outer Ring Road (ORR), officially renamed as ಡಾ.ಪುನೀತ್ ರಾಜ್ಕುಮಾರ್ ವರ್ತುಲ ರಸ್ತೆ (Dr. Puneeth Rajkumar Vartula Raste), is a ring road that runs around most of the perimeter of the city of Bangalore, Karnataka, India. This 60-kilometre-long (37 mi) road was developed by the Bangalore Development Authority and different sections were opened progressively between 1996 and 2002. IT firms on the Outer Ring Road generate revenue of US$ 22 billion every year, accounting for 32% of Bengaluru’s total IT revenue.

Krishnagiri district is one of the 38 districts of the state of Tamil Nadu, in India. This district is carved out from Dharmapuri District by 2004. The municipal town of Krishnagiri is the district headquarters. In Tamil Nadu, e-Governance was first introduced at Krishnagiri district under the National e-Governance Project (NEGP) in revenue and social welfare departments on a pilot basis. The district is one of the largest producers of mangoes in India. As of 2011, the district had a population of 1,879,809 with a sex-ratio of 958 females for every 1,000 males. Kanakapura is a city in the Ramanagara district of Karnataka on the banks of the Arkavathi river and the administrative center of the taluk of the same name. Its founder is Shrihan Kanaka Sigmanath, hence its name. Kanakapura is largest cocoon silk producer in India. River Cauvery flows around 21 km in Kanakapura Taluk.Previously belonged to Bangalore Rural District. It was formerly the largest constituency in the country. (1,553 km2 [600 sq mi]). It is located among the lush green forests of the state of Karnataka. The town is infamous with the traffic of Kanakpura Road in Benglaluru, one of the most narrow and traffic-prone roads of the state. The town is a tourism hotspot and an often visited tourist favorite in the entire state of Karnataka, as it has something for everyone ranging from avid trekkers to history buffs and wildlife enthusiasts. The forest area in this taluk is very wide and about half of the Bannerghatta National Park is located in our Kanakapura area. Kodihalli wildlife range and harohalli wildlife range its division. The Kaveri Wildlife Sanctuary consists of two main zones namely the Sangam Wildlife range, the Muggur Wildlife range.
Pavagada is a town and a taluk in the Tumkur district of Karnataka, India. Historically it was part of the Mysore kingdom. Though it is geographically connected to Chitradurga district inside state of Karnataka, it comes under Tumkur district. It is 157.8 km from state capital of Bengaluru. Uttara Pinakini river flows into this Taluk. Pavagada Taluk falls on the border of Karnataka, hence a majority of the population are bilingual speaking Kannada and Telugu. The town is famous for its fort located on the hill, Kote Anjaneya temple at the foothills and also the temple of Sri Shani Mahatma.
Bangalore Metropolitan Region Development Authority, officially Bengaluru Metropolitan Region Development Authority (BMRDA), is an autonomous body created by the Government of Karnataka under the BMRDA Act 1985 for the purpose of planning, co-ordinating and supervising the proper and orderly development of the areas within the Bangalore Metropolitan Region (BMR) which comprises Bangalore Urban district, Bangalore Rural district and Ramanagara District. National Highway 948 is a highway in India which connects Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu with the city of Bengaluru. It is a spur road of National Highway 48. It passes through Sathyamangalam Wildlife Sanctuary. The road through the wildlife sanctuary is a single carriageway with two lanes, and it is narrow at many places. Wild animals can be spotted in this route. The movement of automobiles are not allowed from 8 P.M to 6 A.M through Dhimbam ghat stretch in this national highway. National Highway 948 passes through Sathyamangalam forests, which were the territory of the bandit Veerappan.
