Owlerton Stadium, also known as Sheffield Stadium, is a purpose-built speedway track built in 1929 which also hosts greyhound racing The track is in Owlerton near Hillsborough in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England. Greyhound racing takes place on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday evenings and every Monday and Thursday afternoon. There is a modern glass-fronted Panorama Restaurant accommodating up to 300 people, executive suites, fast food facilities and a number of bars.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Sunderland Greyhound Stadium</span>

Sunderland Greyhound Stadium is a greyhound racing track situated at Fulwell in the City of Sunderland and English county of Tyne and Wear. The stadium is owned by ARC and racing takes place every Wednesday and Friday evening as well as an additional BAGS meeting on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. The circumference of the track is 378 metres.

Newcastle Stadium is a greyhound racing and former motorcycle speedway stadium, located on The Fossway, Byker, Newcastle. Racing at the stadium takes place on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The circumference of the track is 415 metres. Until mid-2022, speedway racing took place from March to October.

The Grand National is an original classic greyhound racing competition held at Central Park Stadium over the hurdles. It was run at White City Stadium from 1928 until 1984, it moved to Hall Green Stadium in 1985 and then on to Wimbledon Stadium in 1999.

The St Leger is an original classic greyhound competition.

The Laurels is an original classic greyhound competition held at Perry Barr Stadium. It was run at Wimbledon Stadium from 1930 until 1997. It then moved to Belle Vue Stadium in 1998 and remained there until 2017 when it switched to Newcastle Stadium. After two years at Newcastle and a cancellation in 2020 due to COVID-19 it switched to Perry Barr in 2021.

The Select Stakes is a greyhound competition held at Nottingham Greyhound Stadium. It was run at Wembley Stadium from 1952 until 1996. When the Wembley Greyhounds ended, it moved to Nottingham in 1997. This was after the closure of the greyhounds at Wembley.

The East Anglian Derby is a greyhound competition held at Yarmouth Stadium.

The Arc was a greyhound racing competition held at Swindon Stadium. It was inaugurated in 1987 at Walthamstow Stadium but when the track closed in 2008 the event switched to Swindon.

The Gymcrack was a greyhound competition held at initially Hackney Wick Stadium, Hall Green Stadium and later Kinsley Greyhound Stadium.

The Television Trophy is a greyhound racing competition held annually. It was inaugurated in 1952 and shown on the BBC. A different venue was chosen each year over the marathon distance of the relevant track. The competition consisted of heats and a final one week later.

The All England Cup is a greyhound racing competition held annually. It was inaugurated in 1938 at Brough Park later known as Newcastle.

The Eclipse is a greyhound racing competition held annually at Nottingham Greyhound Stadium.

The Champion Hurdle is a greyhound racing competition held annually at Central Park Stadium. Until 2017 it was held at Wimbledon Stadium but switched to Towcester Greyhound Stadium following the closure of Wimbledon.

The Sussex Cup is a greyhound racing competition held annually at Brighton & Hove Greyhound Stadium.

The Springbok is a greyhound racing competition held annually at Central Park Stadium.

The Birmingham Cup is a greyhound racing competition inaugurated in 1939 and held annually at the Old Perry Barr Greyhound Stadium until the closure of the track in 1984. The competition was one of the leading events in the Midlands and was brought back in 1992 and was held at the new Perry Barr Stadium until the decision was made to discontinue the event in 2009.

The Blue Riband was a greyhound racing competition held annually at Wembley Stadium and Hall Green Stadium. It was inaugurated in 1981 as a replacement competition for the Wembley Spring Cup which finished in 1980.

The English Greyhound Derby Invitation formerly the Derby Consolation Stakes was a long standing competition for greyhounds eliminated during the later stages of the English Greyhound Derby.

The Midland Flat was a major greyhound racing competition held at Hall Green Stadium.
