If it is brought forward, the 2025 election will be the fourth snap election in the history of post-war Germany after those in 1972, 1983 and 2005.
Markus-Cornel Frohnmaier is a Romanian-born German politician from Alternative for Germany. He was elected Member of the Bundestag for Baden-Württemberg in the 2017 German federal election. Up until February 2018, Frohnmaier was the chair of Young Alternative for Germany (JA), AfD's youth wing.
