The Stephen Joseph Studio is a former German Protestant Church, now part of the University of Manchester, [2] in Greenheys, Manchester, England. It used to lie on Wright Street (off Ducie Street), [1] a street which no longer exists (grid reference SJ845963 ). [1] It was mentioned in the Manchester Directory for 1858, with the pastor's name H. E. Marotsky (Hermann Eduard Marotsky); it should not be confused with the German Church in John Dalton Street, established by Joseph Steinthal in 1854. [3] It was first occupied by the university in 1949 and had various uses before its use by the Department of Drama. [4]
The main entrance lies on the west side of the building, with a side entrance on the north. The east side features a rose window. The building houses seven lecture rooms, with space for up to 179 students. [5] It is named after Stephen Joseph, the pioneer of theatre in the round. Since the late 1970s the Mansfield Cooper Building has stood to the south-west.

Tabley House is an English country house in Tabley Inferior, some 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) to the west of the town of Knutsford, Cheshire. The house is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade I listed building. Hull Paragon Interchange is a transport interchange providing rail, bus and coach services located in the city centre of Kingston upon Hull, England. The G.T. Andrews-designed station was originally named Paragon Station, and together with the adjoining Station Hotel, it opened in 1847 as the new Hull terminus for the growing traffic of the York and North Midland (Y&NMR) leased to the Hull and Selby Railway (H&S). As well as trains to the west, the station was the terminus of the Y&NMR and H&S railway's Hull to Scarborough Line. The Sackville Street Building is a building on Sackville Street, Manchester, England. The University of Manchester occupies the building which, before the merger with UMIST in 2004, was UMIST's "Main Building". Construction of the building for the Manchester School of Technology began in 1895 on a site formerly occupied by Sir Joseph Whitworth's engineering works; it was opened in 1902 by the then Prime Minister, Arthur Balfour. The School of Technology became the Manchester Municipal College of Technology in 1918.
The Didsbury Campus on Wilmslow Road, Didsbury, Manchester, England, originally a private estate, was part of the Manchester Metropolitan University; the oldest building on the site dated to around 1785. Jubilee Library is the largest public library serving the English city of Brighton and Hove. The Jubilee Library forms the centrepiece of the Jubilee Square development in central Brighton, a £50 million scheme to regenerate a 40-year-old brownfield site. The Grand Hotel is a Grade II* listed Victorian hotel in the city centre of Birmingham, England. The hotel occupies the greater part of a block bounded by Colmore Row, Church Street, Barwick Street and Livery Street and overlooks St Philip's Cathedral and churchyard. Designed by architect Thomson Plevins, construction began in 1875 and the hotel opened in 1879. Extensions and extensive interior renovations were undertaken by prominent Birmingham architecture firm Martin & Chamberlain from 1890 to 1895. Interior renovations included the building of the Grosvenor Room with Louis XIV style decoration.
46 West 55th Street is a commercial building in the Midtown Manhattan neighborhood of New York City. It is along the south side of 55th Street between Fifth Avenue and Sixth Avenue. The five-story building was designed by Thomas Thomas in the Italianate style and was constructed in 1869. It was redesigned in the neoclassical style between 1903 and 1904 by Edward L. Tilton. As redesigned by Tilton, the first floor contains a limestone entrance, while the other floors contain red and black brick with limestone moldings. The first four stories are bowed slightly outward.
