Stuck On Repeat is the debut studio album by American pop rock band Stereo Skyline. It was released on July 20, 2010. [1]
The group worked with producers S*A*M and Sluggo, Blake Healy of Metro Station and Adam Schlesinger of Fountains of Wayne on the album. Lead vocalist Kevin Bard stated, "I didn't want our fans to be disappointed in any way, but I wanted them to grow with us." [2]
The album was recorded in Red Bull Studios in Santa Monica, Right Hook Productions and The Cutting Room Studio in New York City and Westlake Studios in Los Angeles. [3] "A Little More Us" was written by Kevin Bard and Adam Schlesinger while production was handled by S*A*M and Sluggo. Bard stated that working with Schlesinger was "surreal." [1] Most of the album was produced by Blake Healy and according to the group they, "learned a lot from him in terms of both music and handling life in the music business." [1] The album title is taken from the lyrics of the third track "Tongue Tied". [4]
"Tongue Tied" was released digitally on June 15, 2010 as the lead single from the album. [5] The music video was released through the group's Facebook page on July 8, 2010 and was released to YouTube on October 29, 2010. [6] The track was written by Bard and Healy and features guest vocals from Cassadee Pope during the phone call segment of the song. [4]
"Me & You" was released on November 30, 2010 as the second single from the album. A music video was released in promotion of the single. [7] The video was shot in Venice Beach, California and was aired on TeenNick. [8]
In promotion of the album's release, performed at the 2010 Bamboozle Roadshow, as well as headlining their own tour with The Audition, Cash Cash, The Downtown Fiction and Cady Groves for support. [2] [9] The group also toured with Good Charlotte and Hanson. [1]

Stuck on Repeat was met with positive reviews from music critics. Tim Sendra of AllMusic gave a positive review for the album praising the catchy choruses of the songs and its use of simple chord progressions, as well as the lyrics. He stated that Bard's vocals, "have a sound that makes The Archies sound like Slayer." He also added, "The eight songs are all memorable, fun, and friendly, played with plenty of upbeat energy and a carefree zest." [3]
Scott Heisel of Alternative Press also gave a positive review stating, "Stereo Skyline deliver slab after slab of nu power-pop, with each sub-three-minute song loaded with Auto-Tuned vocals, cheesy woosh sound effects, the most basic of lyrics and an all-around level of saccharine that makes The Maine sound like Slayer. And yet, this thing doesn't suck." He described the track, "A Little More Us" as a "young Ace Enders fronting the Jonas Brothers." He also compared "Me & You" to Owl City's "Dental Care" for its "unabashedly cheddar moments." He praised the tracks "Tongue Tied" and "Heartbeat" for its instantly likable hooks. [10]
Stuck on Repeat peaked at number 133 on the Billboard 200. The album also debuted at number four on the US Heatseekers Albums chart and sold 4,000 copies first week. [2]

Travis are a Scottish rock band formed in Glasgow in 1990, composed of Fran Healy, Dougie Payne, Andy Dunlop and Neil Primrose. The band's name comes from the character Travis Henderson from the film Paris, Texas (1984). The band released their debut album, Good Feeling (1997), to moderate success where it debuted at number nine on the UK Albums Chart and was later awarded a silver certification from the British Phonographic Industry (BPI) in January 2000.

Adam Lyons Schlesinger was an American musician, songwriter, composer, and record producer. He was a founding member of the bands Fountains of Wayne, Ivy, and Tinted Windows, and was a key songwriting contributor and producer for Brooklyn-based synth-pop duo Fever High. He also wrote songs for television and film, for which he won three Emmy Awards, a Grammy Award, and the ASCAP Pop Music Award, and was nominated for Academy, Tony, and Golden Globe Awards. He died unexpectedly due to complications of COVID-19 at the age of 52.
Metro Station was an American pop rock band that was formed in Los Angeles, California by singer Mason Musso and bassist/guitarist Trace Cyrus. In late 2006, the band signed a recording contract with Columbia Records and RED Ink Records. The band is best known for the commercially successful hit single "Shake It" from the group's self-titled debut album. In 2010, tension between Cyrus and Musso caused the band to go on hiatus. In 2011, the band returned, however, it was announced that Cyrus was no longer a part of the group and Musso had purchased the rights to the name.

Nothing Personal is the third studio album by American rock band All Time Low. As early as May 2008, the band began writing for their third album, and by November revealed they would be recording in the winter. The band began pre-production in early January 2009 and started recording later in the month, which lasted until March. Half of the album's songs were produced by Matt Squire with Butch Walker, David Bendeth and S*A*M and Sluggo each producing a few songs. Tom Lord-Alge mixed the majority of the album. "Weightless" was made available for streaming in March, and released as a single in April. A support slot for Fall Out Boy and an appearance at the Bamboozle festival followed.

Recording for the album took place in Los Angeles, California between 2010-2011 whilst production was handled by Ian Kirkpatrick. Musically, the album is mainly rooted in dance, pop, trance and post-hardcore genres but also uses elements of electronic music and dubstep. The album received generally positive reviews from music critics, who commended its "catchiness" and "radio-friendly" songs. It debuted at number 42 on the Billboard 200, as well as the top 10 of the Dance/Electronic, Rock, Alternative and Independent Albums charts. Promotion of the album was primarily through live concerts and television performances, such as Jimmy Kimmel Live! and The Daily Habit. Its lead single, "Blackout", has since become a commercial success, peaking within the charts in Canada, New Zealand, Scotland, the United Kingdom and United States, while being certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for selling more than 1 million copies. A deluxe edition titled Hell Is What You Make It: RELOADED was scheduled to be released on July 10, 2012, including two new original tracks, one remix, and a new version of "Last Night (Vegas)". It is their final release with founding member Kyle Even.
