Stuntnuts Does School Fight is an upcoming comedy film written and directed by Damien Walters and produced by Matthew Vaughn. It serves as a standalone sequel to Stuntnuts: The Movie as the second film in a new trilogy, and fourth movie installment overall in the Kick-Ass film series. [1] [2] Vaughn described the project as tonally " The Inbetweeners with stunt-men". [3] It stars Greg Townley, Paul Lowe and Bobby Holland Hanton.
The film follows the misadventures of Leo, a boy with a wild imagination, and his friends at school. When a new girl, Candy, joins the class, she brings unexpected baggage in the form of her ex-boyfriend, Bobby. As tensions escalate, Leo decides there’s only one way to resolve it: a "School Fight."[ citation needed ]
In April 2019, principal photography had begun on a new comedy action film titled School Fight, written and directed by Damien Walters, with Greg Townley, Paul Lowe and Bobby Holland Hanton starring in the lead roles, noted as the first feature film to be filmed with the Apple Pro Res RAW by Atomos and Apple. [4] In January 2024, the project was announced by producer Matthew Vaughn to be a sequel to Stuntnuts: The Movie and the second installment of a new trilogy in the Kick-Ass franchise. Matthew Allard de Vere Drummond, known professionally as Matthew Vaughn, is an English filmmaker. He has produced films including Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (1998) and Snatch (2000), and directed Layer Cake (2004), Stardust (2007), Kick-Ass (2010), X-Men: First Class (2011), and Argylle (2024). Vaughn also co-created the Kingsman comic book series and resulting franchise, directing, producing and co-writing the films Kingsman: The Secret Service (2014), Kingsman: The Golden Circle (2017), and The King's Man (2021).
