Afterglow is the fifth studio album by Canadian singer-songwriter Sarah McLachlan. Released on 4 November 2003 on Nettwerk in Canada and 4 November 2003 on Arista Records in the United States, it was her first album of new material in six years, after the success of Surfacing and the Lilith Fair festival.
"Let's Get It Started" is a song by American musical group the Black Eyed Peas, released as a single on June 14, 2004. The track was the fourth single released from the band's third studio album, Elephunk (2003), and is a re-worked version of the album's third track, "Let's Get Retarded". This version was included as a bonus track on the 2004 re-issue of the album. The song interpolates part of the instrumental base of "Wannabe" by the Spice Girls (1996). The song was written and produced by band members Duke Erikson, Shirley Manson, Steve Marker and Butch Vig. "Stupid Girl" features lyrics about a young woman's ambivalence and is a musical arrangement centered on a repetitive bassline and a drum sample from the Clash's 1980 song "Train in Vain".

"Survivor" was inspired by a joke that a radio station had made about the fact that three members had already left the group, comparing the band to the reality game show Survivor. Beyoncé was inspired to take the negative comment and turn it into a positive by writing a song out of it. "Stupid Girls" was written by Pink, Billy Mann, Niklas Olovson, and Robin Mortensen Lynch. Mann and MachoPsycho both produced the track.
