Serang Regency is a regency of Banten province, Indonesia. It is located in the northwest corner of the island of Java. The administrative center of the regency is at Ciruas, while the capital of the province is the independent municipality of Serang which was split off the regency on 17 July 2007.
Deli Serdang is a regency in the Indonesian province of North Sumatra. It surrounds the city of Medan, and also borders to the west the city of Binjai, which is effectively a bedroom community for Medan. The entire regency lies within the Medan metropolitan area. It occupies an area of 2,502.16 km2. The capital of the district is Lubuk Pakam, which is located approximately 30 km east of Medan. The national census of 2000 recorded 1,573,987 people, but by 2010 the regency's population increased by 13.76% to 1,790,431, and at the 2020 Census the total was 1,931,441. The official estimate as at mid 2023 was 2,015,429. Kualanamu International Airport is located in this regency, 23 kilometres east of downtown Medan.
Sikka is a regency within East Nusa Tenggara province, Indonesia, on the island of Flores. It is bordered to the west by Ende Regency and to the east by East Flores Regency. It covers an area of 1,675.36 km2 and had a population of 300,301 at the 2010 census and 321,953 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2023 was 337,011. The capital is the town of Maumere, which comprises the districts of Alok Barat, Alok and Alok Timur.
Ende Regency is a regency on the island of Flores, within East Nusa Tenggara Province of Indonesia. The regency covers an area of 2,091.19 km2, and it had a population of 260,605 at the 2010 Census and 270,763 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2023 was 280,328. It is bordered to the west by Nagekeo Regency and to the east by Sikka Regency, while the Flores Sea lies to the north and the Savu Sea to the south.
Karawaci is a town and an administrative district (kecamatan) of Tangerang City, in Banten Province of Indonesia, on the island of Java. The district covers an area of 13.48 km2, and had a population of 171,317 at the 2010 Census and 184,388 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2023 was 193,480. Lippo Karawaci, a planned community, is located here.
Bogor Regency is a landlocked regency (kabupaten) of West Java province in Indonesia, situated south of DKI Jakarta. Covering an area of 2,734.33 km2, it is considered a bedroom community for Jakarta, and was home to 5,427,068 people at the 2020 census. The official estimate as at mid 2023 was 5,520,836. The town of Cibinong serves as the regency seat.
Sukabumi Regency is a regency (kabupaten) in southwestern Java, as part of West Java province of Indonesia. The regency seat is located in Palabuhan Ratu, a coastal district facing the Indian Ocean. The regency fully encircles the administratively separated city of Sukabumi. Covering an area of 4,164.15 km2, the regency is the largest regency in West Java and the second largest regency on Java after the Banyuwangi Regency in East Java. The regency had a population of 2,341,409 at the 2010 census and 2,725,450 at the 2020 census; the official estimate as at mid 2023 was 2,802,404, with a large proportion of it living in the northeastern part of the regency that encircles Sukabumi City, south of Mount Gede. A plan to create a new regency, the putative North Sukabumi Regency, was considered by the Indonesian government in 2013, but has been deferred until the end of the current morotorium on new creations of regencies.
Cianjur Regency is a regency (kabupaten) of West Java, Indonesia. The area of the regency is 3,503.75 km2 and its population at the 2010 Census was 2,171,281; the 2020 Census produced a total of 2,477,560 and the official estimate published by the regency government as at mid 2023 was 2,535,002. The town (district) of Cianjur is its seat.
Pandeglang Regency is a regency of Banten province, Indonesia. It is mainly located on the west and south coasts of the island of Java and is the most westerly regency on Java Island, but it also includes several offshore islands such as Panaitan, Peucang, Deli and Tinjil. It is bounded by Serang Regency to the north, Lebak Regency to the east, the Java Sea to the south, and the Sunda Strait to the west. The regency has a land area of 3,053.13 km2, and a population at the 2010 Census of 1,149,610, rising to 1,272,687 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as of mid-2023 was 1,391,056. The regency seat is the town of Pandeglang in the northeast of the regency, but the most densely-populated district outside of the northeast agglomeration is the town of Labuan on the west coast.
Alor Regency is a regency in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) province of Indonesia. Established in 1958, Alor Regency administers the Alor Archipelago with its seat (capital) in Kalabahi on Alor Island.
Batuceper is a town and an administrative district (kecamatan) of Tangerang City, in Banten Province of Indonesia, on the island of Java. The district covers an area of 11.58 km2, and had a population of 90,590 at the 2010 Census and 92,044 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2023 was 95,474.
Nias Regency is a regency in North Sumatra province, Indonesia; it lies on the east side of Nias Island. The regency originally covered the entire island, but was reduced to the northern half, with an area of 3,495.39 square kilometres, following the creation of the new regency of Nias Selatan on 25 February 2003. It was further reduced by the creation of the new regencies of North Nias and West Nias and the independent municipality of Gunungsitoli from other parts of Nias Regency on 29 October 2008. Since the separation of the new regencies and municipality, the reduced Regency now covers 853.44 km2 of land in the eastern part of the island, and had a population of 131,377 at the 2010 Census and 146,672 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2023 was 146,895. Its seat is the town of Gido.
Nias Selatan Regency is a regency in North Sumatra province, Indonesia, created on 25 February 2003 by the division of the existing Nias Regency. The regency covers a land area of 2,487.99 square kilometres and according to the 2010 census had a population of 289,708; the 2020 Census showed a population of 360,531, while the official estimate for mid 2023 was 368,834. Its administrative centre is the port of Teluk Dalam. Apart from the southern portion of Nias Island, the regency also includes the smaller Batu Islands to the south, lying between Nias and Siberut; these islands occupy nearly half of the land area of the Regency, but have just 9% of its population.
Serdang Bedagai Regency is a regency on the east coast of North Sumatra Province of Indonesia, facing Malaysia, with 95 km of coastline and covering an area of 1,904.37 square kilometres, divided into seventeen districts (kecamatan), in turn subdivided into 243 villages. Its administrative centre is the town of Sei Rampah. The regency surrounds the independent city of Tebing Tinggi, and also contains a district (kecamatan) by the same name. The name “Serdang Bedagai” was derived from the two Sultanates which formerly existed in the Region; they were Serdang Sultanate and Padang Bedagai Sultanate. The population was 592,922 at the 2010 Census, while the 2020 Census produced a total of 657,490; the official estimate as at mid 2023 was 685,074.
Teluknaga is a district (kecamatan) located in the northeast of the Tangerang Regency of Banten Province on Java, Indonesia. It has a land area of 52.41 km2 and had a population of 138,330 at the 2010 Census and 160,946 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2023 was 167,980. The administrative centre is in the village of Kampung Melayu Timur. The district is composed of thirteen villages (desa), all sharing the postcode of 15510, as tabulated below.
East Flores Regency is a regency in East Nusa Tenggara province of Indonesia. Established in 1958, the regency has its seat (capital) in Larantuka on Flores Island. It covers a land area of 1,812.65 km2, and it had a population of 232,605 as of the 2010 census and 276,896 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as of mid-2023 was 289,376. The regency encompasses the eastern tip of the island of Flores, together with all of the adjacent islands of Adonara and Solor to the east of Flores, with some much smaller offshore islands. On 4 October 1999, the island of Lembata at the eastern end of the Solor Archipelago was separated from the East Flores Regency to create its own Regency.
Southwest Sumba Regency is a regency on Sumba Island in East Nusa Tenggara province of Indonesia. Established on 2 January 2007 out of parts of West Sumba Regency, the regency has its seat (capital) in Tambolaka. Its population was 283,818 in the 2010 decennial census and had risen to 303,650 at the 2020 census; the official estimate as at mid 2022 was 322,073 (comprising 164,825 males and 157,248 females
East Manggarai Regency is a regency in East Nusa Tenggara province of Indonesia. Established on 17 July 2007, the regency has its seat (capital) in the town of Borong. It covers a land area of 2,438.68 km2. The population at the 2010 Census was 252,754, and at the 2020 Census was 275,603; the official estimate as at mid 2023 was 310,822.
Meranti Islands is an archipelago, most of which forms a regency (kabupaten) of Riau Province and lies off the eastern coast of the island of Sumatra, Indonesia. It was created on 19 December 2008 by the separating of these large islands from the mainly mainland regency of Bengkalis. The regency comprises the islands of Tebing Tinggi, Rangsang, Padang, and Merbau, together with minor offshore islands, but does not include Bengkalis Island to the north, which is geographically part of the archipelago but remains within Bengkalis Regency. The principal town is Selat Panjang on Tebing Tinggi Island. The regency covers an area of 4,769.53 km2 and had a population of 176,290 at the 2010 Census and 206,116 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as of mid-2023 was 211,611.
Pakuhaji is a town and a district (kecamatan) located in the Tangerang Regency of Banten Province on Java, Indonesia. It has a land area of 54.55 km2 and had a population of 103,506 at the 2010 Census and 119,050 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2023 was 127,330 - comprising 65,470 males and 61,860 females. The administrative centre is in the village of Buaran Bambu.
